Intra-racial resizing?

It should be trivial to have a switch in the start area that lets you select any height for the height range of your PC's race. Scaling can be done by script. We'd need someone to go through and find scales that looked right for the various heights, but that's not really that big a deal.

I think if PC size adjustments are implemented, people should be able to do whatever the heck they want to do. This is a fantasy server after all, right?

So you want to be a huge weakling or a buff midget. Who cares?

I think your stats should ofcourse have to match that though.

Never has been a precise set. Just been that on average, the drow females are taller then the males. I'd just switch around the males being taller then females thing that is going on with all all the other races at the same scale.

My decisions are usually based on game balance, campaign setting lore, then game mechanics (hard numbers). So if FR's lore conflicts with the game mechanics in a way that doesn't affect play balance, I tend to side with the lore. It keeps things interesting. Since PC scaling doesn't affect balance, I think I'll stick with making females a bit taller unless there is a good reason not to. Maybe an inch or two.
