Hello to all and thanks for the accepted application.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know and work with this community. It's been awhile since I've been in an NWN community (since Greyhawk Lords, if anyone was involved in the early days of that). But I have played NWN, mostly with friends, since 2002. ALFA seems like a tight and positive RP group so I'm excited to be apart of it now.

What's up with me....

Playing - Not sure where I will plant my first character, but I'm planning on putting down an N1 character somewhere this evening just to get to know the people who make ALFA. Can't wait to game with you guys.

Building - I've been spending the last month working on an N2 module of mine to sharped up my design skills for an effort on an N2 PW. I'm looking forward to hearing about the different N2 projects going on and I hope to join a dev team and contribute. Before joining ALFA, I was thinking about putting together a dev team to do a Thay PW, but I decided against it because I don't think you can run a good evil land campaign on an open server without it getting stupid. While most of the dev work I've done has been on good/lawful campaign settings (like Greyhawk Lords), I've often thought that a great setting for players is the LE world (Thay, Zhentil, etc...). I love the idea of good players facing their ultimate challenge: struggling to make things right in an evil land. Anyway, as far as skills, I can do pretty much anything with the toolset that doesn't involve 3D modeling (adventure design, area design, custom visuals, scripting) and i've got a pretty good handle on SQL and such. I hope I can put this to use on an N2 project that ALFA wants to work and play.

Once again, it's great to be invited. I'm looking forward to lots of fun gaming hours in the future.

Welcome to ALFA! I just started here about a week ago. I've been playing a bard on the Daggerdale server. Let me know if you feel like coming in there and joining a fellow level 1 newbie. I would be happy to share the little I have learned thus far about the JOYOUS DaggerDale residents....*skips away singing about puppies and sunflowers*
