The Muys the Merrier

Post by erasmuys »

Eras Muys, at your service. No really, I'm new and I'm ready to carry your perverbial golf bags on Daggerdale. I'm scared to death and I actually want my first character to survive to see his long lost father so...

Yeah, I'll be parking your cars and shampooing your poodles.

No appointment necessary.

server confusion

Post by erasmuys »

Looks like I chose unwisely. Daggerdale appears to be an EST time zone sort of place and I'm PST with a vengence. So I'm trying Northern Cormyr.

I have a feeling I'll be wandering all around though. We'll just have to see how this all works out.

I advise checking out the DM times tables on different servers, and coordinating with the DMs that match your playing times.

Yeah, well, I really only have the time I've got. We'll just have to see. It appears that late PST may be a weak time slot in general.

Late PST is not that bad...depending on how late. Drop PMs to folks like Loulabelle and Acadius Lost both of whom are on PST. Also, there is always the Underdark - most of the folks on North Underdark play PST (like me). We are not on every night, but fairly often especially in the early evenings PST. If you are interested, contact HDM Vendrin before jumping in though - never want to jump into the 'dark without checking things out first!

Once I have a few levels under my belt, I'd love to get to be enslaved for a while in the Underdark. Makes for a good character development situation.

But for now, I hunt rats and catch lost sheep.

Well, I look at it this way. It's like a test. If folks are really more interested in role-playing than roll-playing, they want an interesting story. If they are just looking for an excuse to PK a noob, then I'll know who to avoid from now on.

We are actually quite excellent role-players down here in the Underdark. Accordingly, a slave will likely have a miserable, restricted, tortured and probably short life. I do not suggest it; we are drow - avoid getting captured by us. Its not likely to be a 'character building' experience. Or...maybe it will be.
