Sensous delights, Part Two: The Offer (5Dec05 6:07 PM Local)
The threesome traded questions as the evening creeped slowly along, the tension in the air electric. Polite their manners but joist they continued, unabbated...

"I even went to try and find you." The woman chuckled behind a soft palm. "But you werent there... alas."

"really?" The woman nodded once and Jasper replied with hint of regret. "And it is my loss that I was not. I will try to be more availible the next time you come looking."

"Perhaps it was.. perhaps it was.. And perhaps it shall..." The hin took another sip of her drink as Lainey again pulled out her harp and began to play softly.

"In Amn the days are hot and long,
And the Dalelands in the west..
The northern mornings are bitter cold,
But Cormyian Knights are the best."

"You can keep all your Sembian merchants,
Thayan wizards you'll find by the score,
But if you want a great day,
look for purple and grey,
'Cause they know what chivalry's for."

"In Amn the days are hot and long,
And the Dalelands in the west..
The northern mornings are bitter cold,
But Cormyian Knights are the best."

"Oh the djinns keep it hot out in Calimshan,
And the sailors on the beach in the Isles,
But the ladies know best,
'cause its better out West.
You can always tell that by our smiles."

*plays the chorus on her harp before singing*

"Well the dwarves are quite burly in Icewindale,
In Silverymoon you can dance with a bard,
If you want a strong man,
take a knight by the hand,
'Cause it's more than their armor that's hard!"

"In Amn the days are hot and long,
And the Dalelands in the west..
The northern mornings are bitter cold,
But Cormyian Knights are the best."

The woman finished her song, nearly swooning in her chair. "Ooooh, Cormyrian Knights are the best!"

The hin howled in her chair, kicking and giggling, as Jasper raised a eyebrow, clapping. "you /are/ quite tallented."

Lainey smiled politely to his honest compliment. "I'm happy that you think so. I could sing a sea chanty.. but I'm afraid the lyrics are too crude for gentle company."

"Oh I am not so gentle."

Now it was her turn to raise an eyebrow. "Are you not?"

"not crude at all. Just direct... Would you like to find out?" Jasper flashed a devil's smirk as Millia burst into a new bough of giggles.

With a slight blush rising in her cheeks, Lainey retorted, "No but thank you for the very kind offer."

The hin kept snickering with rolling eyes as she finally mustered air to mutter out, "'im is crude like itchies in buttocks...."

"Itchies in.....?" Lainey puzzled that out a moment, then shrugged helplessly. "Well.. I suppose Captain Kinney wouldn't shock anyone here.."

Times passes and Lainey's redition of Cap't Kinney and His Monkey Mates was, indeed, a woot. soon as the giggles and clapping was done, the hin was wiggling in her chair...

"How can a man keep his composure in the presents of such beauty?" Japser took mesure of both women in turn, appraisingly.

The Bosomy woman took boldly her retort to Jasper's wandering eyes. "You seem to be doing admirably well Jasper. Though I had hoped to ask you to teach me to juggle when you have time. You are terribly good at it." The woman's smile seemed to echo the hin's snort of derision, causing her to turn towards Millia with a smile. "You have to admit he's good at juggling. Have you ever seen him do it?"

The hin gave her a unsure shrug, a gesture Lainey too as an affirmation. "Well then you know he's very good."

"[h] but hims juggles boobies...", was all the mumbling hin could muster, drawing a confused look from Lainey. "I'm sorry?"

Jasper's smile was miles across then, utterly full of himself in inflation. "I would be glad to instruct you lainey."

"Well then.... I'll look forward to it. Though I'm not entirely certain how I could use it." Uncertainty hinted in the Buxom woman's tone.

"The way that your fingers delicately caress that harp I am sure you will be a natural." Again than evil, delicious wink of secuction towards Lainey. "but such delicate hands she has. Millia? would you desire a lesson too?"

Mental Thought: [Talk] [H] Bite Me!

The hin merely snorted, wiggling her nose in a aqute smirk towards the impudent male. Lainey's parry was much more lady like...

"Oh.. playing the harp is certainly not the thing I'm most skilled at, Jasper."

Intrique filled his expression, as did the hin's, three blinks showing hook, line and successful sinker. "oh! and what is that? what is it that you are most skilled at?"

His grin was infectious; the hin sniffled once; the woman crossed her legs at the ankle. "You wouldn't be interested in knowing that.."

He raised an eyebrow; the hin sniffled again; the woman smiled rather nervously (or was it a feint?)...

Silence, broken finally by the truely curious, and impatient hin. "'plain please! me is curious..?"

"Actually, it's Massage." A soft chuckle and smile towards the hin, drawing Jasper's attention fully upon the woman.

"Though I have done so little of it I'm afraid I might have forgotten how."

"Then, mayhaps, you should practice. such a skill would be useful, and, t'would be ashamed to loose such a skill, malady."

Serious consideration occuring, the woman slowly nodding. "Perhaps.." Her shoulder shrug delicately. "I wouldn't want to offend anyone though. I usualy don't offer because people sometimes either don't like to be touched.. or get the wrong impression."

".....massage? like how Sharess Ladies massage? turn into puddle OH~ so~ guud massage? yes?" The hin mewed out her question, thoughts lingering back to a time, of warm water, bubbles and joy, back in a not so far way place.

"Exactly like that. Would you like me to practice on you?" Her view was totally upon the curiousity and whimsical stricken hin's face. "After all, Jasper does makes a good point."

"uh....." Rapid blinks, uncertainty. "Me guesses.... where?" Nervous looks around the otherwide empty Inn room.

"Your back? Legs? Neck most definately.."

The man, silent, merely coughed into a tightly closed palm, as the hin murmured her acceptance. "uh...... me guess back and neck...." Her voice drops a octive or two, then. "but me thought me haves gets in buff!"

Lainey gave a reassuring smile, hooking assured the hin's involvement. "It isn't nessessary.. It is easier, but again.. I prefer people to be comfortable."

Jasper finally found his voice, and with devilish wit, calmly commented, "why do it half way?" Instantaniously, the hin scowled, giving the man -That- Look.

The woman, taking upon a professional tone then, set her harp back into it's case, snapping the latches shut, before motioning the hin to sit in front of her. "You could come sit in front of me, if you like, Millia."

The hin, gulped once, gave the man a firm pointing towards the far wall, and as he turned his chair obediantly away, the straps and clips her pooped off and open and the hin peeled off her Darken Leather top, exposing tanned, frenckled and scared skin...

Sensous delights, Part Tree: Fingers in all the wrong places! (9Dec05 11:31 AM Local)
The woman's Fingers ran along the long muscle down the sides of her spine, soft pinching motions on each vertibra. Her moves, her very touch, glorious pleasures, as they befell the hin, the throaty purring drawn out as the 'victum' endured the pleasures of the massage...

"You've been carrying things too heavy for you.." Soft words, as she continued to work the relaxing muscles. "I told you that you needed to relaxe more.." Jasper's rebuke, polite and calm as he watched from afar.

Her motions begin by massaging the hin's shoulders, running her thumbs along the muscles in her neck, making small deliberate circles. The skin is tight, raw, and the hin stretchs herself out in a effort to provide more of her for the woman to work upon... "You have many talents, Lady Lainey" A smile, less evil and mischievious and much more admirative, as the man observed cleary enjoying watching the hin squirm on the felt throw rug.

The woman, smiling to the man's compliments, then began to work her way back down to where her neck meets her shoulders, before working her way back up the small tanned neck. "Tell me if you want me to do it harder.." Lainey's voice was kind, warm, professional. Her hands began kneading the shoulder muscles as she works her way a little further out from the neck, her concentration high...

"you see what a gentle hand can do for you Millia?" The smile fell upon the hin like shadow, The man's eye lingering upon the sides of the hins compressed bosom exposed. By instinct, the hin brought her right elbow back down to cover her exposed bosom's sides, as the Mistress Massagist worked her way down the spine to the lower back, then shook her head, frowning slightly.

"Mmm.... Thank you, Jasper..." Soft words, high praise. "This really is a mess, Millia. Can I straighten it for you?" A pause, a throaty plea of permission, her words more purr that words. "Just relax.. I'll have it out in a moment.." Her work slowly traveled down the small spine, the moan of purring pleasure, like a cat, from the hin, high pitched and throaty, turning into a whimper as the massure began to work out a knot under the hin's shoulder blade...

The Scene: The woman, kneeling over the prone hin, pushed the strap of her own dress up as it slide off of her shoulder to her arm. The man, appearing to be intrigued, took out his flask and dranks a bit sip. The hin groaning sofly in deft pleasure as pale small but strong fingers performed magic on tanned, freckled skin and scars. The inn door opens. In, step in four folk, happy to be in doors and to enjoy the warmth. One man and three woman. All three look in variations of surprise to looking upon the Woman Lainey and her efforts upon the prone, and partially nude hin. Expressions from nervous shock to outright amusement are evident from faces of the Human Elias Fenigan, The Lady Gina Undry, Katrina Sendt and the soreroress, JenWa. Several audible cracks are heard, each with a corisponding groan from the hin finally ending with a plaintif 'Me -lurvs- this!'...

Later, as the other folk discuss matters of privacy at the bar, The massause known as Lainey, sits with the Sorceross JenWa, as the hin sleeps on the rug, a cloak covering her otherwise topless self...

Lainey, resting calmly, smiled at the sleeping hin, Millia, as JenWa snorted out her words with a wave of her left hand, amused. "Bah, Millia could sleep just about anywhere...

"Truely? Ah.." JenWa returned a firm nod. "Oh yes... In Beregost, I found her sleeping, curled up, under a bench." Her smirk raised the dimples of her cheeks.

"Rather like a cat... Well she certainly seems peaceful enough."

"hmm True... I think an army would pass by and she would not move. The slightest sound of thunder, however, will wake her up though..."

The hin merely slept through the conversations going on around her, dreams of liquid puddles, soft fingers, and mental orgasms...

Future Plans (8Dec05 10:12 PM Local)
Baby Steps by Svenskaflicka

Hope grows
with every encouraging word.
Success
builds confidence.
My back is straight,
my head held high.
Step by step
towards the day
I can let go of your hand
and manage on my own.

The hin sat under the stone pedistal, shivering. The room was cold, just like the rest of the gnome complex. A soft, shivering wind was felt around her.

Her patrons, the gnomes of White Dimond were understandably pleased with her rescuing the gnome infant from the clutchs of the Trolls. 'You did a good dead. WE are grateful, young hin'. kind pleasntries indeed.

But the hin still remembered -that- feeling. That connection. that sence of love. She held the infant but for a scant amount of time but for Millia, it was endless. The feeling of rage, concern, worry, grief....

relief. Joy. Pleasure. So many emotions befeel the hin when she rescued the little girl. So much emotion in that single connection.

Pride. Belief. Happy sorrow. Nobility. All these thoughts crowded the hin's brain. Drawing confusion. Uncertainy. Anxiety. emotions the hin had little personal experiance, save for one dark time in the past.

She made up her bed, rolling out her travelling blanket and mat, her bags serving as her pillow. Soon, she was asleep, dreaming of her future.

Dreaming of her own children's future....

Ends and Forks in the road (10Dec 05 4:01 PM Local)
A note, written on Whitestar parchment, in common runes, neat and legible...

To: Commander Eveningstar and Acting Commander Frem
From: Milliam Quicken Stoutfolk, Lorehin and Scout
Subject: Terms of resignation as a Whitestar

Sir, Me report with~ ...

The note burns cleanly in the firepit, well enough for the still bitter and conflicted hin. She watchs the parchment burn for a time then exhales loudly as she then turns toward the small storage closet, looking for a broom...

"Me have hires new cleaning lad. No likes dusting!" As the hin then sneezes loudly enough...

Summoning blossom (16Dec05 1629 Local)
The beast sniffed the air, the winds carry the wide array of oratory senses that a large city would emit on a especially warm summer day. One breath. Two. 'West.... I sense her to the west....' The beast lumber off on whisper soft pads, scaring half to death a young dwarf lass who peeked out her third story window. She didn't know what she saw, only that a shadow three times as large as her prowled the rooftops of Baldur's gate...

"DEEEEEEEEE-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZ REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Screamed the woman, as she put the plate down on the dinner table, the metal plate competing with plates of Ham Roasts, Bread sticks, Corn on the Cob and a dish of carrot slices and Loafy leaves. Her smile was wide and she felt wonderful this day.

"It smells nice, Mistress Elizabeth", piped up Akania. The slim, white robed hin with sharp brunette hair placed the last of the silver wear on the table, Dinner Fork, then spoon-knife. The Tall red haired human nodded her thanks, turning towards the hallway where the gaggle of family would come in to feast to the Mid-summer's Night.

The first to come in, running on blue and green furry bunny slippers was Millia, squealing in delight with Ginnia, the two rambunctious hin followed quickly by Melony, a slightly taller human child. Hair, long and unkempt on all three lasses, skidded aged of them as they stopped instantly when their respective mothers gave the threesome 'the eye'. No words said, just looks and points of slender index fingers and the three girls took their chairs and places, content to smell the meal before them in quiet anticipation.

A older, more matronly woman came in bearing a plate of sweets, and the three girls broke into a loud chorus of wants, screams and hollering them, Akania shaking her head, Elizabeth yelling to her own child to quiet down and the older woman, merely chuckled.

"Mother, you are not helping", was Elizabeth's only remark to which Aghness snorted something much to rude to print to her daughter, the grand daughter wide eyed in shock, the hin's three in riotous laughter...

The beast hear the noise, loud echoing in the wood cave below and across the narrow gap from the top of the mountain-wood-cave he rested his haunches on. It was there, he though. Though.... not. He smelt her.... but did not see her... 'Odd....'

The hin children and human child were quiet, heads bowed down in various stages of prayer, some more fervent than others, when the hin woman looked up with curiosity to the empty place at the table.

"Robin Mari! Dinner is served, darling!" Melony looked up to Akania, as the hin mother called out. The hin girls snickered but ceased with just a dark glance towards them. Melony remained passive, patiently waiting permission to eat. Millia and Ginnia squirmed in their seats.

Elizabeth chewed on her lower lip, saying nothing, only reaching her hand out to the man to her right. Thomlas took the soft hand into his own, large power digits rapping and caressing, both remaining quiet. Their trust in their live in maid and confidant hin was eternal. Only the old woman, crowed softly to herself, the hin children and human child giggling then.

and then the child came into view.

thin, meek. Her hair in messy curls, her robes a little too big for her, her green fishy shaped leather shoes making 'Scree-Zee' sounds as she waddled into the dinning room. Akania smiled, relieved. "Oh, Robin Love. Come sit, so that we may pray to our lord, The True. Only the old woman heard the sarcasm in Akania's tone.

The hin child took her place, with some struggle and help from her sisters.
All was ready. Then the head ache returned and Robin whimpered. Her mother was there immediately, comforting her. She knew her daughter was birthing her powers, mastery of magic through concept. The fever she suffered over the previous week was of this, maturity. 'Tis to be expected of this kind of affliction', said one priest. 'Portent of ill', said another, before the mother stole his coin purse out of spite.

'She calls me and I will obey', The Beast growled to himself. He traveled an 8th of the world to reach his mistress, to heed her calls, worthy. To serve and protect her....

and as the 400 black glossy panther broke through the panels of the glass window, bounded once into a leap and ended on top the dinner table (sending all the plates that did not resist his sudden appearance to the floor, hin children, human child, or three elderly humans) and stood still, looking straight down at his mistress Robin's wide eyes of awe, hew realized something as well...

Akania Quicken Stoutfolk was slightly a better cook that Elizabeth Goodheart, but both paled in comparison to Aghness Goodheart's Left-side Down Cake with goose feathers.... Then the table broke in two...

-----------------------------

The hin closed her journal as the throng of children began to clap and laugh, applauding to the hin's story. She smiled sweetly, the memory of who Robin called up her familiar warm and wet, upon her lips. Embellished, yes, the hin considered but still funny to tell to the children. With the gloom that all the refugees brought with them from fleeing the drow or drow-related exodus, the hin felt she had to do something to help....

When Von met Millia (10Oct05 3:48 AM, Late Entry 22Dec05 13:04 PM Local)

(This was a story that Rusty sent me long ago, after our first meeting in the Streets of Waterdeep. It involed myself, him and folks and NPC Drunkard, who, at the time, i though was dropped for a reason, as opposed to be merely just looked at, like all poor vagrants we see and, sadly, ignore in RL)
Rusty wrote:“My kin say I walk like a moose of the wood.” Von’nes had stepped out of the stinking tavern, leaving the red-haired human to her conversation. Beleg and Fabian waited outside.

“Your… friend… is engaged with a garrulous halfling.” Dry. Fabian smiled, though whether at Beleg’s latest piece of self-deprecation or Von’s finessing was not clear — or particularly important.

As she raised her black and silver helm, the moon elf’s eyes scanned the sparsely occupied street, darting from shadow-bound doorway to doorway. Her vision picked out a peculiar scene. “It might just be dawn by the time she is done chatting then. I have not met a single silent hin yet.”

Von motioned to the two bodies on the road, one prone, one, smaller, halfling, kneeling, and whispered: “That halfling seems to have talked its victim into a coma… or we are witnessing the world’s slowest mugging.”

Beleg grinned.

“North on foot?” but by now, Von’nes’ attention was fully focussed on the scene before her. A guard, paying no attention, walked past the recumbent pair. Von’nes exhaled through her nose, heavily, and stepped forwards.

Still no sign of life… though there were no signs of blood. The human did appear to have been dragged a short distance from a small pool of vomit.

Humans! Drunk. Insensitive. Neither moved. Two drunks. And one of them a freak. She took in the hin’s purple hair and over-sized pack. Or a circus performer. No response from this one either…

Von’nes slowly raised her foot. Just as she was about to swing it down, the halfling sighed. Von paused, poised on one leg. “Me is drunkard old hag watch.”

What? Von’nes regained her balance as the halfling sighed and stared at the passed-out woman before her. “I had thought there were… two… such,” spoken precisely. Another guard walked past, oblivious to the tableaux. The purple-haired watcher glared at her.

“Me think that rude thought!”

Von’nes shrugged, eloquently. Circus performer. Or escaped lunatic. Pesters people. Follows them around. Her gaze shifted as a gentle snore came from the ludicrously over-sized pack the hin had strapped to her back.

“What’s going on here, citizens?” Distracted by the moving pack, Von’nes had not noticed the approach of the guard. She looked back at its carrier.
“It appears you have been relieved, halfling.” The hin looked up and sighed with relief.

“You bring wooskow, guard sir? Me is drunkard watch…” The guard’s patience seemed already stretched.

“Who is this?” Curt. Glancing over the group, the three others having walked up behind Von. The moon elf’s attention remained locked on the halfling, intrigued as to how she would explain herself.

“Me no knows… me discovers… and me kepts watchs…” The guard was suitably impressed.

“Very well then. I’ll take it from here,” sarcastic, “Good work.” The hin piped up again. Von’nes struggled to contain her amusement.

“Me asks you takes her to tank, for safeties,” peering at the badge on the guard’s uniform, “Patrolman…?”

The guard sighed and, reaching down, grabbed the woman by the collar. The halfling bit her lip as she watched her precious drunkard being dragged off, down the street. Glancing over her shoulder, Von muttered a few words in Elvish to Beleg.

“One drunk or two?” The halfling’s bag lurched and the hin staggered as she tried to stay on her feet. “Or even three?” Von’nes attention locked back onto the bag. That pack has a halfling attached.

Steadier on her feet, the hin glowered up from underneath her purpled locks. “Will your passenger approve of the delay?” The hin growled. Von’nes nearly burst out laughing.

“Fey of the moon, your lip…” purple tresses were rearranged, irritably.
That was too much. The sound of elven laughter rang out into the cold night air.

“This one could follow you, Beleg. As you… knock-out… your assailants, she could stand watch over them.” The hin turned away slightly, struggling to keep her balance as her pack shifted.

“Until a guard arrived to claim them. You could split your… reward.” Behind her, Ravin grinned. The halfling’s jaw dropped.

“Perhaps not. She does not seem… aware enough… to be relied on.” Uncomprehending, blinking eyes peered up at her.

“You… you is just thugs!” the halfling exclaimed. Von’nes laughed. Point proven.

“I think not.” Fabian had removed his helm and stepped forwards into the moonlight. “Calling a man of the cloth a thug is quite the insult.” The hin gasped.

Such incomprehension. Almost impressive.

“You! You hangs out with… jerk lady? Me no gobbies and orc with more tack!” Hands placed on hips, “Why she make order anyway?” More hair rearranging.

“The lady is a… skilled… warrior, and one of the fair-folk, and although her attitude shows disdain, I am sure she means no harm.” Fabian whispered something else. Beleg muttered. The hin snorted.

“Not enough violence, Beleg?”

“Too much, mayhap.” Ravin closed her eyes and sighed. “And here I thought we were just going to see about that caravan.”

Von’nes looked up at the sky and shrugged as the halfling muttered something unintelligible.

“Not dawn yet.”

Preamble: One path leads to another... (4Jan06 6:06 AM Local)
"little really going on... I've been doing some of the dull work of his lordship.." The Elf-kin Pariah Sylvia was speaking to the Sorceress JenWa, as the hin wandered up the lane from the south. Dressed in her typical Adventuring gear, it t'was clear she meant for some travelling this day...

"Jen-Jen!", the hin growled out with revel, as the Elf-kin lass pursed her lips, glancing to milia. JenWa merely grinned as she said her own form of salutation. "Pinkie-Milli!"

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

The threesome woman discuss travel to Missledale, Millia's desire to investigate reports of siege weapon far far south past the barrows on the moonride. Soon, JenWa agrees, Sylvia states her need to remain and bids both safe travels as the pair depart for the Coaster. After some discussion, JenWa's need to check in with Dara (and Millia supposes, a hour long need to crap), the pair pay coin to reach Emerald Springs, as it's all Millia could afford at the time ("Me made spend lots coin on scroll material for Elf-Dur!"). A few hours closer to nightfall, the pair arrive to the Elven Encampment, sorrowed by the sence of ill in the air. The Drow threat is clear and palitable and they make their way swiftly across the far shore, back to the east road...

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

The hin crawled from the dingy, grumbling to herself as JenWa grinned beeming at the newly contructed small habor on the river edge south. "Quite an improvement! Makes the trip to the Springs shorter."

Millia wiggled on her beloved deer helm, grumblings still to herself. "me wish me had coin for full trip"

The woman took it upon herself to enjoy the opertunity then with some farse, as she chuckled. "My 'poor' friend..."

A nerve twitched on the hin's forehead out of view as she snarled, "Farty fart!", which only caused the woman to shrug and wave a dismissive hand. "You have much to learn in insults." JenWa added a witty grin, knowing full well she won this round. "You should consider Velyn or Myr as teaches."

The hin growled and flipped JenWa a rude hand gesture, causing the woman to laught with delight....

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hours pass and darkness soon heralds Shar's time to reign on this moonless night when the pair reach the western gates of Ashabenford. They nod to the gaurds, explaining thier purpose and reporting no sightings of drow or unusual events on the road, much to the relief of the standing gaurds. Soon they continue onward to reach the White Hart Inn to rest, wash up and feed their inhabitions. The Sorceress takes a chair near the fire, it's warmth oddly strangely... appreciated, thought she keeps this concept private. The hin however spends the eve entertaining the gaggle of youths, weaving new and renewed tales of 'Moo Moo Cow & Dizy Kitten'. The night goes well for both woman...

The Next Morning, they arrive at the Rider's Fort and meet the Red haired Captain for discussions of Millia's investigation and perhaps minor coin earning work as well. It seems odd noises have been noted from Galath's Roost yet again. The pair agree to assist, The woman being perhaps bored and the hin needing the coin. Soon with tasks at hand but not a plan of yet, the pair rest thier bottoms on the soft velvet cushions in the Rider Fort's lobby, pulling boots off and inspecting toes before they depart...

Foreward: Bitchs, moans and overdoes it (6Jan05 20:17 PM Local)
When the pair come back out from the Riders Headquarters, the weather took an amazing turn. Grey, misty fog had rolled across the ashebenford, Pee Green and soupy. Suffice to say, it meant for some unusual navigation methods to get around town...

" 'Scue me! 'Scue me!'", The little hin yelped out each time she ran into a Missledalesman Militia, the sound of metal impacting with leather and flesh with regularity. The Sorceross was grumbling herself, running into fences instead of metal plated Soldiers.

"Getting too old for this!" The woman laughed to herself at the abserdity of the current weather and mischief as a result of it. The hin merely grabbed at her own bosoms lifting up then down, mimicing the effects of gravity. "Ooooooollllllldddd~UMPH! 'scue me!"

JenWa simply chuckled in delight at the yet again impact of hin and soldier. "You see who I am stuck with?" The Soldier expressed his appologies and the pair kept moving, slowly north, then west as they traveled the edge of the Ashaba river.

The fog really didn't help much at all, as the hin began to lead them in circles, blishfully unwares as she babbled her taunts to her human friend, in hin. "OLDDDDDDDDD! [h] me have saggy boobies! me is old fart maid! [com] Old lady no sence! Direction up down! Dence, dence, dence!" Her giggles and overall cheery tone was just one odd difference in this weather, The hin being unusually upbeat...

JenWa, after bouncing off the umpteenth fencing, merely rolled her brown eyes, muttering aloud, "See who I am stuck with?" She then added in her natural and flowy home language muttering, "[Mul] Unless all hins are crazy?..."

When the hin ran smack into The Wizard Noristuor's Tower for the second time, did JenWa finally start laughing hard and clapping, enjoying Millia's struggles with direction in Fog laidened Ashabenford. "Bah! You silly, pink-haired, half-blind hin!" JenWa was feeling wonderful then, finally filled with a chance to forget her own burning needs, as she poked the now confused and lost hin with her staff...

_________________________________________________________________________________

The pair of lost bumblers eventually leave town from the north gate and as they gain some distance from the River Ashaba, the fog begins to clear up, well enough for the pair to go off land then, as their direction heading kept them eastwards towards the Vale of Lost voices.... and Galath's Roost, home to many mysteries and many haunts. It's this aspect of the ruins that killed the hin's mirth when they finally got within sight of keep, it's green glow hidden by the weeds and vines growing along it's flanks and facings. Chauntea seemed to be doing a slow job to take over the keep...

"Been around once with Myr", Murmured quietly in whisper, as they creeped up the muddy and weed covered approach, bluejays calling out in the distance. Millia's sence of mirth faded away as she got within 10 feet of the old battered walls, burn marks still apparent after all these years of rain...

"So.... what exactly did the Captain hire us out to do, milli~willi?" The woman rested her hands on her hips, Her staff momentarliy planted into the earth, as she surveyed the keep's tall but badly damaged battlements.

The hin walked up to a corner and started pointing things to the woman, explaining in clear words, clear at least as far as Millia was concerned and the pair begin to walk around the perimitier, the hin acting as guide.

They started working down the south side of the castle, the sun warm and friendly as they traveled down the lane, Ciperious Leaves to thier right and crumbling rock to their left. 12 paces down, a gaggle of jungle rats scuried across thier path from a crack in the wall and into the forest below them. JenWa, caught unwares, instinctly touched Millia's shoulder and suddenly the hin felt the tell tale effects of maving stone overlap her skin.

The hin paused giggled as the last rat screached to safety and she rapped her leather bosom affectionately. "rock boobies!"

The sorceress shrugged soft shoulders and continued her work, her frown growing as the sun rose in to the partly cloudy skies. Millia broke away, feelin nature's need to urinate and JenWa moved onward, now looking over the east face of the keep, the marks of fire and sulfer more evident now between the weeds and reeds.

JenWa's frustrations were growing, as she continued her fruitless search, until she eventually ran back into the hin near the North-west side of the keep. "You go the other way? Or I do?" She finally swore in Mulhorandi, as her frustrations finally took the lead in her demenor. The hin sighed softly then gestured to her friend with a pitch of some animal fur, then mutters her spell in elvish.

The woman widen her eyes to her friend, her eyes watering as she blinked rapidly as the spell took hold and then, as she whipped tears from her eyes, she smirked then. "Thank you." Millia watched her friend's expression grow into a full bore smile and she cheerfully declared, "Now you is not dumb!"

The hin then cast 'The Cunning Fox' upon herself and she swayed on her legs for a moment, as JenWa grabbed her shoulders in concern then. "Milli?" The hin dropped to her knees, looked up to her friend's gravely worried expression, and blurted out in the fastest speach she ever heard spoken...

"Iamreally, truely, honestly, surpremelyandutterlysuperdupersmarts, nowJenWaLoves!" Millia's eyes was wide, expressive, and extremly dialated. "Iamnotkidding!Iamreally,greatly,hugely,loudly,bigglyVERYVERYSmarts,JenWa-Love!" The Sorceress looked at the hin, blinked once, twice then started to laugh, happily finally.

"Whyareyoulaughingatme,JenWaLove? Ireallydon'tlikethat!I'msuperintelligentnow!" The hin huffed rapidly and blinked her eyes just as quickly, causing the woman to laugh even harder now at the pouting hin...

Forbodding: Taunts of the feast (9Jan06 20:11 Local)
Now emboldened with Millia's magical enhancement of their perceptions, the pair of Adventurous surveyors continued their work, looking over the crumbling walls of Galath Keep. It was laborious and time consuming and soon Sune's light gave way to the battle of Selune and Shar, as clear moonlight bathed the lands below.

They made camp, daring to make a small fire just at the edge of the land, under the shadows of the haunted Roost. The smell of roasting pork whiffed the calm air and night loons crooned somewhere to the south, seeking mates under the Moonmaiden's grace.

The sorceress worked the fire with a frown, the red flames betraying the heat that she began to slowly emit herself. The hin snored quietly, belly full and appetite sated, under the ruin of a arbalest, it's shatter frame suitable for a small hin to crawl into.

JenWa grinned mischievous and began to toss small rocks at the sleeping hin. after 12 throws, one finally boinks the hin's snoring and she growled slowly, making it clear she is unhappy to be awake. JenWa smiled then, coming up with a sarcastic comment for her friend. "Hmm... so is that better or worse than sleeping under a bench, Milli?" The woman hid her grin with her left hand as the hin flashed a rude hand gesture back at her.

It was then that the Sembian Archer marched by, silently and calmly enough, ignoring both woman as he moved up the hill, perhaps through the hill. JenWa shivered in her seat as Millia growled, surprised and frightened. "uh... uh.. uh... uh uh... de-de-de.... Ghostie!" She turned to watch the archer march into the walls, fading from sight before looking upwards and seeing ghostly figures fading in and out of existence on the battlements... and then they are gone, with the blink of a eye.

"[q] If... If I remember correctly... I ... I think the last battle is repeated at midnight every night... not always visibly however." She glanced down back across the plain, expecting to see most ghostly apparitions in the eve gloom but sighed when she sighted nothing.

Millia also looked about, but her vision walked across the battlements. "me no reads... EK!" She rapidly pointed upwards along the high crumbling walls, sighting ghostly figures fading in and out of existence on the battlements... and then they are... "there... and..." A brief pause and rapid blinks of her green eyes. "gones?"

JenWa turned to her friend, noticing her gestures before glancing up the walls herself. "me see.... ghosties.... on walls, top!" The audible gulping sound was clearly heard by the sorceress, her smile faint. "I... I wonder what is happening inside?"

She looked back around them and saw a few more ethereal forms march across the plains, heedless of the mortals in their mist. "They did not seem to notice us. Hmm... soo.... do we huh.. 'inspect'?"

The hin look like she was going to complain to that idea when they both quieted, upon hearing yipping screams from inside, growing louder. Her tanned ears perked up, JenWa gave a deep frown to her friend before staring back at the entrance. "What do you suppose it was?"

Millia began to whine nervously then "No likes this... it no thi~*!!" She silenced with a gasp and drew her elven dagger as a handful of non descript goblins burst from the keep, yelping and shrieking far into the night to the west.

"not a good sign." she murmured, watching the last of the goblins flee to safety before smiling proudly then, idea at hand.

"How about a peek, under invisibility?" Millia's complaints did nothing but embolden JenWa's interests. "Jen-Jen turns into Tallie Soppi with smaller boobies!"

Now laughing, the woman made a sweeping gesture to the hin and Millia's form faded from view, but did not cease her complaining, making the woman smirk the more fiercer. "I'll take that as a compliment, pinki-Milli..."
________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The pair entered the hall, flames from shadowstuff creating dim light, and no heat what so ever blanked the moldy walls. A sense of rot and decay lingered in the air. now, it is understood why Chauntea's reclaiming touch is resisted in this place...

A table setting, faded, transparent was placed in the center, chairs placed in their locations proper, broken otherwise was standing magically by legs of faded non-existence. warriors sitting in each chair, lands on their faded leather thighs, themselves fading in and out with the wanes of the ethereal light in the room, doing nothing but stare at each other. The hint of voices linger, conversations in dialects of region but muted. It's clear enough the ghosts themselves make no sound at all...

JenWa quietly said to move forward and the pair walked around the far north wall, watching for reactions from the ghosts, seeing nothing instead. Millia simply blinked non-existent eyes at what she could see. JenWa's voice broke the enchanting spell...

"[w] Looks like the attack has not happened yet."

"[q] this.... before calm of storm?"

"[w] I suppose so. Hmmm... Battle happens at midnight, I think..."

The hin blinked again, trying to count on her invisible digits. "uh oh...."

They continued to creep coming to the North-East corner to looking at the delapatated throne, rotting and near complete ruin.

That was when they then saw the hounds on each side of the throne. Large mongrel pointers, as big as price boars at the fair, sitting on their haunches looking west at the table feast ahead of them... then the closest dog turned his head to the invisible pair and growled at them.

"[w] huh oh.... Let's back a bit..."

"*q* y-Y-Ye-ap!"

They back tracked the way they came, still the bandits in their chairs, showing no reaction, though the echoing laughter and revelry increased in crescendo and Millia pained to listen to her friend's footfalls to keep abreast with her. The dogs however, kept watch, remaining sitting but cleary aware of their presence.

They reached the foyer, the noise deafening when suddenly the pair feel a chill from grave across their shoulders when Galath finally spoke, the sudden silence, utterly, then.

"Ah, guests..." A subtly wicked grin flashed across his face, as he spoke a harsh word in Infernal and both woman faded into vision suddenly enough.

"[h] U-uh o-o-oh....." was all Millia could utter, high pitched with fright, her tone as her deer helm began to hum, low pitched from the sudden increase in her nerves.

JenWa : [Tell] lol, I was wondering where Galath was

Realizing their visibility had faded, she turned around just at the edge of the entry way, safety just 12 long strides away. She traded alarmed expressions with Millia, shivers too before sucking in a deep breath and standing more straight for the Ghost's measure. "Good evening, Galath."

Galath's eyes fell on Millia's shield and he grinned a predatory expression again as she held her shield forward of her lithe frame. "Ah, one of those... what do you call yourselves, white stars?" Galath's laughter made JenWa suppress a shiver even more.

His gloved fade, solid for a moment, gestured to the table, though no hint anything on it, save the seating ghost bandits themselves and Millia's deer helm bobbled a lot more in cold, restrained fury. "We have one here, little hin. Would you like to see him?"

He supports his right arm with his left at the elbow, his dark finger nails tapping at his shadowing stubble chin. "....what was his name?" A tilt of his head, and the thoughts begone then. "Ah, I cannot seem to remember his name... No matter."

JenWa : [Party] [w] I... He kidnapped the soul of the former Whitestar leader.

Millia Quick Stout: [Party] *a quick look of shock and confusion* *q* W-ha..? *the hin's confusion is genuine* you have-ves.... wh-o?

JenWa's frown, even with her slight rising temper, turned into a smirk. "The leader before Hadrian."

"Ah yes, I remember now. Tond is his name. He begged for his life in a most pathetic fashion. I wonder, are all Whitestars so weak?"

His laughter echoed in the halls though none of his officers and men moved of joined in and Millia gritted her teeth even more, fighting hard the desire to do battle against insult as JenWa cursed under her breath.

The ghost continued his triad, flashing suddenly gleaming white teeth. "Indeed. Here, he remains. None are brave enough to help him. His chuckling continued and he finally glanced back to his men. We should feast on his soul, tomorrow night, men?"

None of the men responded at all and Millia's fury built up even more steam and gore, her breath slowing hinting at bile lapping in her stomach. She finally growled out a retort with chattering teeth. "Me-e no knows who hi-m sp-sp-speaks.... but me no NOT wants to no know...."

Galath's shoulders raised slightly in gesture of futility then. "Very well, hin." He smiled again before turning his head towards his seated men, who make no action of themselves. "The ones which are pure of heart, they are the most.. nourishing."

JenWa : [Party] [w] He likes to play mind-games, Milli.

The hin began to see red, just hinting at the edges of her vision, her shield held that much higher in defense, as the ghost waved his hand over the table. "Will you not join us?" Now his smile turns positively wicked. "The night is young, we could serve.... up some of your former leader, perhaps?" With but a wave of his hand, two of his lieutenants fade from existence to clear two chairs at the end, facing each other. "Come, we have seats free."

Millia's growl only grew in tone and intent, the ghost's taunting barbs sinking deep into her psyche. JenWa, perhaps sensing the hin's emotions, placed a hand on the hin's shoulder, uttering soft words of encouragement "[w] If he gets closer, we run out." Millia in turn blinked, briefly reminded of the potential danger, so gentle and important the woman's touch to her.

"Thank you kindly Galath, but... I think we cannot abuse your... hospitality." She gives the evil being a slight smile and waves her hand dismissively as her next comment drip in sarcasm. "I find souls give me heartburns..."

The Ghost gave a feigned look of person hurt for a moment. "Not hungry? A shame." His false expression returned to that wicked grin, then. "It is no matter, I assure you. Your company is most welcome."

her teeth make a very quiet grinding noise, as she mouths off back to the ghost then. "Me think of few things you chews on, undeadie..."

JenWa then nudges Millia's rump with her staff roughly, admonishing her before thinking over what the undead had said. "I thought he chose to stay here." Her own chuckle seemed to briefly calm the hin.

With his arms wide in motions to the table behind him, Galath snarled, "Do you see much choice involved, sorceress?" Dark chuckling echoed in the halls again.

Crossing her arms across her bosom, JenWa shrugged. "I see that you cannot leave anymore than he can." She paused to nod to Millia, then. "Forced to repeat their last fateful night."

Her growl remained, terse and fierce now ceasing only to allow her to blink, as she looked to JenWa then. "them.... stucks...?"

"Ah, but he can leave!" His voice, filled with ice rises higher, an optimistic tone hinted then. "One must simply save him, he cannot leave on his own... But then I would not expect you White Stars to have any loyalty. Not if you are as weak as that Tond."

His smile seems to twinkle, yellow replaced by white and again, Millia felt a urge to draw her weapon upon the fiend. Only JenWa's soft pat on her shoulder keeps her in check, and the woman smiled back towards the ghost to show her own resolve, helped bolster the hin's. "I heard better, much better taunting from Sir Nullin of Helm, Galath. Taunting Millia shows poor form."

The ghost, with a wave of his phased hand, dismissed the comment with a scoff. "I am offering a chance to save the very soul of your former leader, I assure you it is no taunt."

JenWa glanced back outside a moment, then returned her eyes upon Galath, with a hint of a grin, as she whispered softly to the hin. "[w] Do not fall for that. Sadly Tond's fate... is beyond us." Her sigh, soft and wet in the misty air.

The bottle felt cool in her palm, as she quietly murmured, "me no readies to f-f-ights thi-s-s day...." Her deer helm shivered on her scalp and her finger popped the stopper on the bottle with her thumb and middle finger.

Galath bared his teeth, ethereal plaque build up still yellowish, as he growled a low, noise which subtly shook the castle. "Then pray, little hin, we have not already consumed his very essence when you are." His face suddenly contorted in a scowl as he sneered, "Begon, before your entrails decorate my chambers!" JenWa blinked, now sensing the proper need to depart post haste, bowed in a mocking fashion and nudged Millia toward the exit.

The hin then did the most irrational thing she could think of. "Me says... give you buttocks to kiss...." With a delft lobbing motion, she saw her bottle, a gift from the Latherite Priests in Dagger Falls, break open in a loud pop and the resulting hissing and scream that came forth from the enraged ghost, shocked to hurt by something that could harm him.

"OUT!", JenWa yelled and turned tale towards the door, hastened in her need to flee and Millia was right on her heels. The ghost, howling in anger and screaming obscenities, swung his greatsword once at the hin, arrows impacting on the door all around the little hin and she gritted her teeth as a piercing cold assailed her as her left heel departed the keep, free from what ever influence the ghost had on his fiefdom.

They didn't stop until they reached the bottom of the rise and even then 10 paces past before they stopped, panting for air, their beating hearts thumping in their chest cavities, vision wide and flush from euphoria and excitement. The ghost, still raging, kept howling curses and insults for half a dozen small candles before the night again knew silence...

________________________________________________________________________________________________

It was just a hour before dawn when the beleaguered pair arrived back in Ashabenford, limping slowly to the White Hart Inn to tend their wounds. When the pair entered, the inn keep, a former adventurer named Holfast Harpenshield, bade his daughter to go get some bandages as JenWa helped peel off the leather jerkin of Millia's.

The single line, red and puss filled, ran across her back going a quarter inch across but wide in length, missing her spine by a whisker's length. As the daughter handed the materials to the sorceress, the hin whimpered as she kneeled, the pain of the battle just now beginning to mount their effects...

"Thank you, Tara. please get me a bowl with some water. Cold, please." When the girl left the common room, JenWa's soft fingertips ran across the gash on the hin's back softly. "stupid.... Why.. Millia?"

The hin whimpered some more, causing the woman to smile weakly and shake her head at her incredibly stupid.... or incredibly brave, friend. "I told you... he likes to play with people's minds. More experienced people than us have tried to rescue Tond before..."

"Him.... h-him... Taunts me... like-like.... -HER-.... or -or..... Ru.... Me is Mads!" Millia growled through clenched teeth. Trading barbs with the ghost reminded the halfling of other folk she battled verbally in the past, with great pain the reminders in her heart.

JenWa had a questioning look, at her wording and emphasize of 'Her' but Tara's arrival with a large bucket of water, interrupted her thoughts. She thanked her and dipped her hand into the bucket, made a face and a grunt, as the water began to rapidly come to a rolling bowl, causing the young girl to pale and scamper from sight of JenWa's power.

As she dabbed the now warm rag across the hin's back, she continued to talk in soft tones of admiration to her firend. "You know, Galath would have teleported us in his labyrinth. We -were- very lucky in that regard, milli-butt. Galath does not typically play fair." Her thoughts for a moment were on the tragic tale of tond, before continuing. "Besides... you should never believe a cursed, evil ghost." The bright smile hide a quick prayer to The lady of Magic, so grateful not having to endure such a fate.

The hin raised her torso up, as her forearms supported her small frame on the rug. "HIM calls me weak! Me is no little girl hin!" Clear anger was in her tone, as she fumed.

"Anyone who truly knows you, knows you are not weak, nor a coward, Millia." JenWa smiled warmly then pulled out her healer's kit and took some silk thread into her finger tips, getting ready to close her wound...

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

it wasn't until high sun outside that JenWa was finished tending the hin's wounds and she helped the hin onto one of the common beds, the hin sighing contently as she laid her head down. "aaaaah....."

"Another adventure. hmm....." JenWa sat down on her bed, watching Millia for a moment before a pale fell across her redden expression. "But... you must never tell Nicha, she would kill us!" Her smile widened as Millia turned her head with a questioning look. "Why Nots?", yelped the wide eyed hin.

JenWa gave Millia a rather oblique but innocent smile then, predicting the hin's reaction. "Because she told me, in the past, to -never- to go inside."

Both women then did the gestures of smacking their foreheads, the hin adding a minute long rant in hin, clearly unhappy in her tone when she finally shifts back to the common tongue. "WHY you no KNOW tells me NOWS???????"

Laughter could be heard in the common room then, throaty and and full of life then. After JenWa calmed down, she watched fondly as millia lowered her head back onto the bed, missing the pillow entirely. "it softs! it comfies! it..."

The hin pushed up into a prone position then, her nose wrinkled in disgust as she uttered, "it have pee smell!!!!!", to which more laughter could be heard in the common room then, followed by more yelling and complains in hin...

So may it be... (22Jan06 5:15 PM local)
"I ask you all, tonight, to be my witness in this: My pledge. Your shrine. Our Patron."

The auburn hair colored woman spoke, her stance silhouetted against the flames of Mystra's shrine, on this cloudless eve in the Emerald Springs. Selune was high above, her tears trailing in the heavens. The sorceress known to the realms as simply, 'JenWa', stood tall, Her expression, free from doubt, free from grief. Her faith.... absolute.

The Priestess of the Magical mother, Dara Tylnermana of Mystra, nodded her head slowly, honored by her friend's request to watch and guide her through this holy rite. "I will bear witness to your words as I have your deeds many times before. Mystra knows their number and weight, and She will be listening now... at the daybreak when night gives way to the day."

Another fey, the Moon Elf known as Zara Auvreaplith'vain, was quiet of nature, of feelings, before adding her words with unusual care speaks her vows of observance. "I will bear witness to your words, JenWa of Shadowdale."

The halfling, a child of shadow, of the art, of misadventure, also stood by in witness to this very blessed event. Nervous, a little hesitant at such a holy rite. She finally found resolve and spoke in the voice of the fey, with inspired clarity. " [Elven] I sh-shall bear Witness.... To Mother of the Art, My Mistress. JenWa, my dear love...."

The Vow to the Mother of Magic

"Here I stand at this shrine, ready to make this pledge. Hear me well, Mystra, Lady of Mystery."

Another inhale. Another fervent prayer called out to the heavens...the dagger, held in her right hand over her left palm, ready to move, to cut, to bleed as blue flames dances at the edge of her small slender fingers...

"As magic flows through my veins, As the Earth is my shield, As Fire is my weapon, And as Death is my gift, All so that others may live, I will shed blood, sweat and tears"

With those words spoken, the blade slices open the skin on her palm, the soft pulse of blood dripping into the grass below. The fire dancing around her fingers, conspicuously avoiding the blood flow....

"I will fight the darkness, I will protect the weak, the innocent, I will preserve and restore the Weave, As best as I can, all along my path. May the Seven Stars guide my steps. Thus begins my next journey."

The observers bow their heads in reverence as the shrine flares into a crimson of cascading colors, warm and comforting all around them in the glade...

"So may it be..."

Flaws and Fears (25Jan06 11:40 AM Local)

Darkness and shadow. The clash of steel on steel. Grunts, guttural and feral. Steamy breaths, fowl, sweaty and primal. The smell of copper, blood on the walls and in the dirt and sh*t. Foot prints everywhere, broken arrow and bolt shafts. The twang of a bolt, the swoosh of a arrow. The soft bursting of flesh, as an projectile slid into the unresisting flesh of a eye...

The warrior Valens*, his right sleeveless arm bulging as his swing cleaved into the side rib cage of his latest opponent, blood blossoming out the bugbear's mouth, thankfully away from the warrior. Bodies piled around them. The others, fools, cowards, would-be heroes and drunkards, had already heeding his barking commands to depart the Myrwood Warrens.

"Retreat!", he said. "Flee to the surface, we lost this fight, Gods be damned!". They did leave in quick order, fear being a base instinct after all. They left the body of a fallen 'friend', clearly beyond recovery now. They left the warrior to fight his retreat slowly, carefully. whittle them down. Sunder their resolve and perhaps he might live this day yet....

THAWNG! the bolt sunk into the eye of one of the larger bugbears, his right eye pressed out and the other a gory mess. "Where did tha.... ah frakking Chauntea's teats, Mel-lia!"

The little halfling fool, fired again, another bugbear fell. How many did I manage to kill that day having failed to save Cursarus's friend? To save Valens, instead, in the end? THAWNG! Another falls, another chance to lick Bebesha's anus yet. Must crank faster, damn it!

They did great that day, the two adventurers managed to kill dozens of bugbears and goblins minions that dark day in the Warrens of the Myrwood. Bards in far south Vesper River Landing and Procampur would sing of the great effort pulled off. Not in Dragon dale, of course. The townsfolk tolerated adventurers, but rare shed tears when others dragged the corpses of would be 'heroes' to Dragon Dale cemetery. Perhaps that's why the crypt there is so alive in death. It's the same as feeding a bold seagull too much...

Another bugbear dropped, his head briefly following his body before the impact of a second too late bolt stopped it's momentum. We entered a cudisac that had three ways in. We controlled one way. The Bugbear defenders two. The stairwell to next level and soon freedom of the open air was near...

Then it appeared. Wearing the skins of an Myrwood Dire wolf, perhaps the skins of Myrwood Wood Elves as well, marched from around the back corner that lead from the deepest part of the warrens. He chanted those dark arcane words (Words and gestures for a spell I shall never dare to learn, so great is my fear of it's power and potential) pointed his clawed hand at us and then a bright light, a sicken clap of ozone, deafening noise (Thunder!)and then the little hin knew nothing but darkness....

----------------------------------------

When the thunder clap struck nearby, even sheltered in a cave, the hin awoken. The frightened halfling was screaming in horror pitched fear. It took several minutes before the sorceress JenWa could calm her friend to peace and calm once more...

----------------------------------------

The others held a terse perimeter around the cave entrance in the Glades of the Myrwood. Not everyone stayed of course. The truly mercenary folk left as soon as they could, realizing that this trip was simply going to be paid in blood and not coin or loot as they has hoped. Loyalty and friendship didn't feed their stomachs of fill their coin purses, in their eyes. The few that stayed, tense from excitement, a few still deathly afraid, looked in shock as the warrior Valens carried a small burden over his shoulder.

An elf, a close friend of Valens moved to him, almost crying that one more had to die for foolish nobility. But he shook his bloody and blond haired head. "No time to morn. To the priests we go. This one I will pay myself. She did more than anyone could ever ask for." The elf looked at his face critically a moment, then nodded herself and led the rescuers home finally. They had a hin to steal from death's clutches once more…

--------------------------------------------

JenWa stroked the soft pink tresses of Millia's hair as she slept finally. The storm that brought fear into the little hin's heart had passed, leaving the gentle lull of dawn instead. She sighed softly, feeling much empathy for her friend. The story of Valens and Cusarus was interesting, even with Millia's less than stellar 'Planations'. Flawed personalities in such a violent and inhospitable place. Her fingers stroked and caressed a little more before she too crawled back on her roll up bed, seeking a few hours of respite from her own worries and fears…
*Ish07's PC. Originally occurred on 'The Vast Persistant World' server some time in April, 2004. JenWa was told the story of Millia's fear of electricity recently and this the reason for today's story...

Aaliya Swift, Female Elf-Kin (A seeming kind hearted elf-kin, her inner rage was exposed when she attempted to lure and murder a drunkard fool. the act, prevented by Millia and the hin Soppi, frightened and confused Millia to no end. She looks upon Aal with some sense of friendship but true trust will be a long time in the making.)(WD,DF,TLR)

Adellie Leonsen, Female Wizard (Cumely, her hair normally tied back and with clothing that covers most of her body. Quiet and calm) (NC2)

Aereth'an Eriana, Female Elf (This skipping and joyful fey befriended the hin Millia one day in the Daggerford Inn. They agreed to look for a farm the hin was searching for and instead found of Daggerford's most wanted. chatty and apparently illiterate to the common language, this elf reminds Millia of another certain high strung and 'difficult to pronounce named' elf....(DF,WD,SD)

Aerilaya Danode'dwa, Female Wild Elf (this fierce warrior fey was cut down just entering her prime in the under-caves of Triboar. Her name was unknown but she greatly reminded Millia of Isendyl and Rara, both for her tenacity and blunt conversation)(Dead)(TLR)

Adalina Vishrakov, Female Human (alluring, sexual and purring, this woman possess near gypsy blood in her veins. She speaks with romanian like accent... and one of many victums of the Cormanthor Drow as well, sadly.)(SD)

Aezrellen Ma'for (status: MIA) (WD)

Aithan Nesbitt, Human (Slight of Build, brown locks to his shoulders, his face round, lacking the lines to show maturity. Millia knows little else of this man, she met at the Daggerford Inn on eve...)(DF)s

Alaelsar Dethlansil, NPC Moon Elf (kindly and a resident and leader in the village of Emerald Springs. Known as 'Elf-duck' to Millia, a coy manipulation of a story JenWa told her once concerning the use of 'Duckling' in some familiar and kind nick names...)(SD)

Alerien Indomeral, Female Sun Elf (Tall, powerfully built, nobel. some words to describe this sun elf. hair of bronze, as are her eyes. This typically beautiful fey is also a insufferable being, all but insulting Millia's use of the elvish language. She came to the dale as messenger and her haughty conduct very much reminds her of another Sun Elf, equally as a Ass as she...)(SD)

Alfirin Au'chrosique, Moon Elf (His green eyes, fair expression and auburn hair tied back shows off his very handsome face, typical of fey. Mischievious, this one is...)(SD)

Allendroth Macgaelleon, Human of Torm? (this huge bruting man, from south of Amn [Calimshan, possibly] bluges with muslces and red hair, is also impullsive and prone to violence, certainly not limited to cold acts of evil, in millia's opinion. she gives this man much watching and caution towards this so called 'Tormite')(SD, TLR)

Allen Windthron, Human of Shaundakul (Born and bred a Dalesman, this man is no slouch to manual labor, yet still moves with lithe grace. Clearly he is a warrior in his manner.)(SD)

Amandel Evra, Green Elf (This seemingly 'civilized' wild elf, a cunning forest warrior, shows a scary side to him when he expressed utter delight upon the dead drow they killed in battle. A fierce and determined tracker and adventurer and well versed in 'Eye for eye' forms of retribution. Recently she killed the disliked Kendrick, stopping a bizarre reign of terror in the Sword Coast, and ending a streak of robberies and murders. Shockingly, in recent times it seems Amy may have performed more 'professional services' with the killing of a infamous Sun Elf. Or so the perception is of her (the truth is typically hopeless muddled in translation) as a assassin. But, regaurdless she is well, traveling the realms for reasons only she knows... )(BG,WD,NC2,TPI,SG,SD,TLR)

Arithel 'Tel' Cys'Varillo, Female Human Ftr/Brd (This spirited and well loved woman {by Millia at least} single handedly save the hin Millia from a fowl fate somewhere under the sewers of Waterdeep, after a failed rescue attempt of a child. To this end, the pink haired hin greatly respects the warrior skald... Sadly this woman fell to drow intrigue in the dark and repressive Skullport... or so she thought. Castano, Human (This man's one interaction with Millia was when she was lost in the wild's after returning home to Baldur's Gate, a disasterous idea hinsight.
