Hello i'm vyvex thorne

I was accepted last night and am looking forward to R'ping here. I have never role played on line so this will be a new experiance for me..little nervous about it to tell the truth.

I'm hoping to get a 101 class and am free almost anytime.
I'm currently downloading the mega-huge files.

This really doesn't seem like a good hello page but I couldn't find another and since others have posted hello's...........hello.

I don't know if all this stuff will be downloaded by then. This norway site is downloading files at 35kbs. I'm on DSL connected at 10Mbs.......ptthhht!

got the hak files from the other site just fine...just this nordish site seems a bit slow at the moment.

who's what's second character?

Unless you choose to play a cautious coward of course.

And never, ever soloing is a good way to stay allive, too. Doesn't garantee safety, but massively increases your chances of survival...

If I heard you correct...RP 101 is on OAS next Sunday...Ill be running a one shot quest this Sunday AM however if you want to join in...The OAS can be found in blue just above the ALFA servers in Gamespy.

Thats GMT -7..or West coast US time..say 'bouts 10-11 AM..

Next sunday, does that mean the 25th or 5th?

I have a character sitting in the shadowlands still waiting patiently for all the music and portrait files to download.

Is there anything else to download but the haks, portraits and music files?

I noticed there are alot of skills on line that aren't there in character creation is that how it's supposed to be?

ahh..the 5th..

The added skills show up on lvl 2..game mechanics thing..so if theres something your chomping at the bit for..save some skill points for level 2..

I got the idea that you're worried you don't get to DL haks before RP 101. No worries, OAS doesn't use haks.

And besides music, hak and portraits, don't forget to get the .tlk file.

I've got the tlk. and hak files done and loaded. Just waiting on music and portraits now. (maybe my server is jumbled....i'm still only downloading at about 30kbs..........oh well. It'll pick up when i'm done downloading.)

i am still fairly new too, and empathize with any up-coming difficulties you may experience...

dont put too much faith into your first PC...he/she will die..(i hope not but)

And if so should you still use the same name?
