The New pillars of ALFA Player Character Creation and Race:
1: As D&D is humanocentric, 50% + 1 of all ALFAns will be forced to play humans. The minimum number of humans will be filled first with volunteers to play humans, then with conscripted players chosen by lack of ALFA senority. In other words, the newest ALFAns will be forced to play humans to the extent that volunteers do not fill out the minimum numbers.
2: As D&D, ALFA and the Forgotten Realms are based upon traditional fantasy worlds like Middle-Earth, 40% of ALFAns will be allowed to play elves, dwarves, halflings and half-orcs. Once again, eligibility will largely depend upon senority in ALFA. In the grand tradition of our (not) long departed leader Indio, a committee shall be formed for each race to determine who, from the available pool of candidates, will be drafted into each race.
3: As ALFA is a representation of the Forgotten Realms, and the Forgotten Realms contains a wide variety of player character races, the remaining, most senior ALFAns will be allowed to play more exotic races such as Deep Gnomes, Tieflings, Aasimar, Gensai, Duergar, Shades and Drow. Each of these races shall have an overseer appointed to select and approve the limited number of people allowed to take these races for their PCs. Naturally, I am the sole overseer for the drow.
4: As ALFA is a representation of the Forgotten Realms and is based on D&D, both of which have as a part of their make up Lycanthropes, Vampries, half-fiends, and half-celestials, a small group of ALFAns selected by an even smaller group of ALFAns shall be allowed to play Lycanthropic, Vampric, half-fiend, half-celestial or half-dragon characters.
5: As ALFA is a representation of the Forgotten Realms, which does include iconic characters of bizarre backgrounds, incredible powers and fantastic appearance, (for example, Countess Sarya Dlardrageth) one ALFAn (me) shall be allowed to play a half-fiend, half-drow vampiric ninja pirate queen Sith lord priestess who dual wields light sabers ... er ... moonblades. Dark Moonblades. Whatever.
All hail the new ALFA!

I am, so far as I know, the only ALFAn currently living in a lesbian relationship in real life.
I have, so far as I know, the longest lived, most successful drow female PC in ALFA history (**knocks on wood**).
My PC has not, ever, once, even a little bit, been involved in any lesbian activity. The rumors of drow lesbian activity are just that rumors - largely spawned by Alara's wishful thinking and over active libido. Note: Half-drow lesbians do not count.
However, IF, and I say IF, the proposed new Pillars of ALFA are accepted in toto, then I will add "lesbian" to the list of descriptors for the iconic character I will play. Better yet, I will add "bisexual" and "exhibitionistic" to the descriptors. If, however, the new Pillars of ALFA are not accepted, then I will go back to playing a heterosexual drow female who does not kiss and tell (much anyway). So there.

Ok I realize players like choices so how about instead of just dragons you can only play reptilian Pcs. Lizardmen, Yuan Ti, Naga, and Troglodytes.
Lurker at the Threshold
Huntin' humans ain't nothin' but nothin'. They all run like scared little rabbits. Run, rabbit, run. Run, rabbit. Run, rabbit. Run rabbit. Run, rabbit, run! RUN, RABBIT, RUN! ~

**Sets aside 2% of the ALFAn player base for reptillian PCs, notes that Nyarlathotep shall be the overseer of the Cold-Blooded-ALFAns Committee. Grants Nyarlathotep the right to play the reptilian Demon Prince, Arch Devil or other Lesser Power of his Choice.**Ok I realize players like choices so how about instead of just dragons you can only play reptilian Pcs. The Vrael Ollo are a race I would be interested in playing beyond a human.
I have no interest in any other.
Drow, Aasmiar, Tiefling, Genasi, Dwarf, Hin, Elf, etc. Bah... you can keep them.
A tainted one or perhaps a pure blood or the new Extaminaar from Champions of Ruin.
That would be a fun character.
The descendants of the Sarrukh, oldest race to ever walk Faerun.

The spawns only have to fight once. PCs don't have that luxury. -Twisted
OAS DM: On Administrative Leave
It just looks that way cause Players and ADMS have a vote...Burt wrote:This poll has probably had more turn out than previous Player Admin elections. Maybe a lesbian ought to run for Admin...
