The Creature(Part 4)

Post by Culnarion »

Szintala sat in the cold stone throne, one foot on the ground, the other slung over the armrest. She leaned her chin on the palm of her left hand, while her right idly played with the wand with the sickly green glow

"Why should I believe you, rivvel?"

The human wept, tears running steadily from his bloodshot eyes as he trembled, able to move only slightly in the leather harness that held him to the ground. A ghastly display of fluid, raw wounds decorated his entire torso, and his eyes followed the movement of the want as Szintala idily twirled it in her hand.

"Tell me the truth, rivvel, you know you want to. Think about it. Think very carefully. Do you think you will be rescued by your companions? Here? They will not find you, not after a hundred years of searching. We are in a place sacred to Lolth. She protects this place."

"Oh gods...oh gods no...please...I don't know anything...."

"Tsk tsk tsk...Oh...I don't know about that...tell you what, I'll ask you again in a few cycles...I'll let you rest and think about it."

Sagging in relief the man began to thank her profusely, stopping just short of blessing her name. Uncoiling herself from the throne, she stepped down from the dais and walked over to the door. As if on cue, it swung open, and a monsterous creature strode in.

Szintala smiled as she placed a hand over the creature's forearm, causing it to shy from its pray to look at her.

"Make sure he dosen't sleep. I'll be back after a cycle or two."

The creature did not answer, since it lacked a mouth, but it bowed and prostrated it self, and then half-wiggled, half-walked over to the man, who had gone shock still with absolute horror.

The creature eyed him, its bloated, misshapen face had five eyes, all irregularly placed. It had a hand with six fingers, a purple tentacle, a claw with ridged teeth and a weird two digit appendege that was corded with raw muscle.

With bits moving under its skin, at times stretching the flesh till it was almost translucent, the creature plopped himself down beside the now screaming human. Slowly, ever so tantalizing, he began to reach for the human simutaniously with all his appendages, his eyes grinning with delight.

Szintala paused in the corridor as the screams drifted from the iron door. Sighing, she worried that she had found a match, a creature who enjoyed torture, in every single form.

Repressing a shudder that came from images that gave even her nightmares, she tried not to shiver as a rising shriek was cut off, again and again...

...and again.
