Inspire Rage

Post by Veilan »

Heya,

Leareth told me noone caught up to this yet so I should post it for the record.

"Inspire Rage" from the frenzied zerker is a surefire way to "accidentally" kill your allies, on purpose, as it inflicts 12 damage a round to party members without save or confirmation.

I'm sure Ronan already thought of it though and it will be handled in a proper way, as that feat is quite very abusable to PK.

Cheers,
The power of concealment lies in revelation.

Berserkers are not the best party mates.

I'd like to pass on a wishlist of more useful PrC's to whoever decides which ones get in the game.

Frenzy from Complete Warrior is supposed to inflict 2 points non-lethal damage per round of frenzying.

Key word, non lethal.

AFAIK, NWN2 provides no way of using or implementing non-lethal damage, and I would know I'd hate to be the one to try and script it.
Meebu Nalfinksder Woohoo IV: Hey boss. . remember that time when we fought those undead firebreathing sheep?
Kric Bendt: . . . .
Kric Bendt: bahh
Meebu Nalfinksder Woohoo IV: Exactly boss!

I scripted a non-lethal damage system to 3.5's rules a long time ago, but it was based off of some features only available in NWN2, so I never got a chance to test it. Its in the prototype ACR, though.

However, it seems better to maybe just alter this to instpire normal rage instead, even if the nonlethal system works flawlessly.

According to the Complete Warrior if you leave the range of the effect it continues until completion...

Has anyone tested what happens if you break party in NWN2? It might stay active to completion.
