I don't know about the specific creature(s) you encountered, but a typical Yuan-ti cannot see Invisible.Mick wrote:Yuan-ti are quite perceptive and I'm fairly confident they could/can see invisible creatures.

If the enemy is an ass and a fool and a rating
coxcomb, is it meet, think you, that we should also,
look you, be an ass and a fool and a prating
coxcomb? in your own conscience, now?
Former Characters:
(Silverymoon): Q’arq Olafstenza Fry
(Waterdeep/Daggerford): Angus Porter, Cleric of Torm (aka the Slipshod Sergeant)

Indeed. If they can see invisibility it is news to me. The abominations are skilled rangers however.Gaia_Nostra wrote:I don't know about the specific creature(s) you encountered, but a typical Yuan-ti cannot see Invisible.Mick wrote:Yuan-ti are quite perceptive and I'm fairly confident they could/can see invisible creatures.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

It makes me happy that a low level monk was more effective than the tanks. I love finding ways to deconstruct powerful builds and poke at the weak spots in the armor. It is a bonus when low level builds are more effective as a result.oldgrayrogue wrote:
And Mick is right about haste. Kiir used his Monk speed and Tumble and stealth to run around and not even take a hit in the entire fight. Granted he was probably lowest level there and not getting targeted as much.
