Thanks guys, I was enjoying Rune too. I have tried to play Monks in ALFA before and unless you just play it totally OOC for survivability (or get twinked) you have a high chance of death at lower levels. If my PC only cares about his own skin ICly, then that is how I play it. But if not I try to play consistent with what the PC would do in an adventure situation, not according to my OOC desire to preserve the character. The fallout of that is that my PCs sometimes die. Believe it or not I have had a number of very long lived PCs in ALFA.

Ayergo, I think anything would help, but more than the NPC buffer, CLW healing max HP would be a much better equalizer. I have seen buffing NPCs on other servers. Its a good feature, but only works if the buffs last long enough for you to get to the actual action. When a PC has crappy AC, mobs get an AOO every time you swallow a potion. So for example if you are surrounded by rats or goblins, as is often the case, and you are like at 50% HP, you swallow a CLW and are not lucky and only recover a few HP, and a bunch of mobs all hit you with AOOs. Now you are like at 3 HP and your quickly dead. That is what happened to both Uda and Rune. Both died with multiple potions on them. You just can't click and heal fast enough to overcome the AOO when you are mobbed with lower AC. With Rune, Kalo was too far away to stabilize him before he died. If the first Potion you swallow gets you max HP recovery you have much more of a fighting (or running) chance.

If NWN2 peeps like having such items, then why not make them available? Likewise for the -6 floor. If it makes the game more fun then we should go for it. Scripting such things is an issue, of course.

As for magic items, I know a certain trading company that is eager to start working contracts and securing shipments of adventuring items.
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

Craft wondrous items is incredibly versatile as item creation feats go. ;)
Not sure if Bran would take it, there's already an XP drain on brew potions...
NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.

NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.

Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

Maybe this already exists and I don’t know about it...

A place to change your head model/hair style/hair color after character creation.

Murgen told Myfanwy he was undergoing Mystigaine treatment (Waterdeep equivalent of Rogaine) and so wasn’t nearly as bald as current head model indicates.

Plus Myf might want to see what a henna treatment would do for her.
Currently playing - nobody

This is in the OOC start area. If you have already emerged into the world, then you will need a DM to port you back to that area.
Talk less. Listen more.

except hair color... which is an interesting question. I'm not sure if that can be changed or not.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
