It has been brought to my attention that the November 2014 tech admin election was overlooked. So, better late than never...
If you are interested in serving as the tech admin for ALFA, please post a self nomination below. It would also be appreciated if a short platform would be posted in a separate thread. Per the charter, anyone elected tech admin in this election will serve until May 2015. Thanks!

Re: Tech Admin Nominations
Standing for the position again.
Same platform and policies as always. Should accomplish our goals through automation; should keep our promises; novel content is how you keep worlds alive and all of the other hypotheses keep turning up as bunk. I've ceased to care about things like portal cooldowns or multiple PCs except insofar as I'd like to avoid being shouted at by the other stakeholders; we keep changing up leveling rates and traveling conditions and hub connections and character availability, and our population either declines or remains constant in response. Folk clamor for harder-core or less-hard-core rules, or PnP or hey I made this thing up, and changing them makes some noise, but population levels out or declines after.
Our big kickstarts to activity and population come around flurries of active development that introduce new plots and new content. Top activity ever was active DMs next to the introduction of static content, lowest activity ever was November, when ALFA was down to only me DMing/building/teching, and provided that we take our purpose to be one of entertainment-- and thus measure success in terms of how much leisure time is being handed over to ALFA (hopefully because they enjoy doing so)-- this seems to be a pattern to be turned to better results for us, and hence my more-recent focus on new content, and why I'm likely to continue to focus there for as TA (unless, of course, some better theory that better explains observations comes along).
