If that is an option, i'll do the same :)
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

"Names"? Who other than Dorn deserves to be sharpied to your monitor for all time?

After reading through his posts and considering the man, I probably would've considered voting for Dorn as a write in candidate for Dictator, even though I don't agree with all of his ideas/proposals. I'm fairly sure his involvement in any capacity will be a boon to the community regardless, and look forward to hearing about good stuff resulting from him working with Shadowfax if SF's voted in.

I tend to be pretty conservative overall when it comes to ALFA, but even I can see ALFA in it's current state is probably hampered as much as it's served by the current structure/charter/organization, which was implemented (and arguably wasn't all that functional even back then) for a community of hundreds and thousands of members.
Formerly: Aglaril Shaelara, Faerun's unlikeliest Bladesinger
Current main: Ky - something

It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

Can I also say that I love these proposals and I'm sad you're withdrawing. ALFA needs a good shake up.

Same to all of the above, but i wouldn't wish an admin postion on any man.
More so when I know I wouldn't be bothered to take it myself even if i was paid to do it.

So enjoy the missus and the boys Dorn.
Don't get sucked back in by all of us saying you're the better man for the job.
