The router had locked itself up it seems; a reset of the hardware sorted it out.

Server is down. Can't access VNC, looks like a possible router problem. For this we shall need the magic of AcadiusLost!

Think I'm going to pick up a replacement today, though I have some other things I need to sort out today as well so may be a while before I get it swapped over. MS is online and vault-connected for now, but will likely remain spotty until the new device is in place.

New router is in place, hopefully won't have any more stalling out of the connection that require physical intervention. New IP address: 24.125.212.175

If someone had PM'd me in IRC, or sent an email, sometime near when this happened (or even, 5-6 hours later), I could have likely sorted it out quickly... now it'll have to wait till I get home from work, and it could be a very long workday indeed.
