Seems like we're off the vault.

Couple that with being unable to d/l an update on BG from zicada I'm gonna say it's something in Zic's house going on ....but just my layman's guess.

Major server weirdness atm.

No NPCs are spawning anywhere, and the game clock is haywire only cycling back and forth between 8:59pm and 9:00 pm

Confirmed down and was really laggy prior to going down. Did they reload MS and BG to the wrong servers as they switched them prior to moving the website?

MS is now showing up in the server list once again, but is not responding.

"Connection error: Server is not responding (timed out)."

Crashed about 45 min ago --not back up yet.

Brought Moonshaes back up late last night after I got home. System had locked up, with some corrupted files coming up on restart (including the virtual HDD it needed to mount the vault).

I got Moonshaes back up by using the old hardware to handle the vaultmount, running another share across my LAN to bridge it over to the new hosting hardware. Inelegant, but effective for now.

Meanwhile, I've made and configured a new linux virtual machine on the new hostbox, so once I get home this evening, I can switch things back to how they were before.

No indication of what caused the system to lock up though, which is troubling to say the least...

Had a little bit of server weirdeness this am (around 6:30 am US east). Back up again now and I know you're working on tings, AL.....just posting for informational purposes if more data points help.


I first got a "server appears to be behind a firewall" message then a time out. Then MS seemed to disappear from the GS server list for 5-10 minutes.

When I check maybe 30 min later she was back and functioning fine.

The hardware locked up again last night or early this morning; I'd guess that was the connection problem you experienced. Sounds like I noticed it not long after it happened this time, no signs of file corruption this time either... but it's becoming rather more than an isolated incident. May have to start working through the various logfiles and removing/updating driver to try to narrow down the cause, as this is now the 3rd or 4th lockup we've had.

Up and stable presently.
