How much XP do you get for 'RP increment?' I found this to be an awesome alternative to hunting. I really don't know if/when I'll go out into the fields. I guess when a big enough group offers to bring me along?

Anyway, I'm totally enjoying the server. It's certainly not what I originally expected being a permadeath server and all. I absolutely love servers in which you actually get rewarded for RPing even when there's no DM around at the time. Many kudos to the devs for a job well done!

For those who are wondering, I play Kaijin Sora, an aspiring wizard of Kossuth. Yes, I know I'm a newbie to this place, but I'm always looking to RP with other people and meet new friends on the server :)

2 an hour (in game hour) or thereabouts. It isn't much, but at least it makes a night spent RPing around town give some kind of reward.

Great attitude!

ALFA is not about the rat race, even if some folks always are. As long as you have fun and get to RP well, that's all that counts, this place here fills that niche in which the next powergaming-number-crunching-build-maximiser is nothing you need to compare your levelling speed to.
The power of concealment lies in revelation.

dont you people work/go out!
Usually, yes. But for ALFAs first day live, I took the day off from work, and decided to do a big-old-marathon session. When the server went Live at around 1AM or 2AM my time, I was there and playing through - I took a 4 hour nap after Indio's DMing, then came back for Wynna's and played the rest of the day (with a 2 hour break to do my taxes). So, this is a pretty unusual day for me - I probably got more hours in on the first day of Live then I will for the rest of the month. But who knows?

**Tries to main-line ALFA again.**

Hello, my name is Mikayla and I am an ALFA-Addict. I ... who am I kidding? The only twelves steps I want to take are the ones leading up to the Rivermoot gate. Ha!

**Struts out.**

Alas, I probably won't be able to play today. Will I go through withdrawals? Hmm...

heh was kidding Mik. I too know the dizzying heights, terrifying lows and creamy middles which is a full day alfa-bender. The days of Evro and loudwater in particular led to a few sudden days of leave.

I find an all-nighter on the computer concentrating hard on RP and the risk to your beloved toon can end up feeling almost the same as getting back from fine 'all night' establishments of tunes at 7am....although without the loss of balance.

I think alfas about as har dto give up as smoking!

In only 20 hours or so of Live, we've had 55 members logging in to the server with characters- 4 have been DMs, but that's still more than 50 total, an excellent showing. 68 PCs have been rolled up on these shores as well, though some have already met with unfortunate ends.

It's a great start, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
We should add quote to wherever we are doing publicity .

And also brand it onto the forheads of the "You've ruined ALFA by not doing things the way I think they should be done" crowd.
