recognises that charisma is often a dump stat and makes the game options match this ;)

They need to make this default with ALFA.

I would tend to agree, but alas, mandating overrides is not how we do policy around here (with good reason, actually ;)).

At least, I'll see about getting a visible sticky though!

Ugly cartoon faces may chill some of the more adult situations that the playerbase craves. Good or bad?

Considering you need overrides to even show a bare ankle, faces are the least of the "adult" problems. :bath:

Am I the only one who doesn't see much difference? Never heard complaints about the MotB heads until this thread popped up. If it's a universal opinion, we could put them into the haks, I expect. But presumably at least some people actually think the MotB "improvements" were improvements?

Anyone? Bueller?

I never noticed the difference until this thread started, so you're not the only one.

Sheesh, it jumped right out at me. First I thought "did I change my gfx settings? This looks uglified.", but then, no, it really was victim to uglification :?.

Sounds like someone hasn't logged onto TSM and tried the tinting lever yet. I managed to give players the option of going back to a NWN1-style look.

After looking at the screenshots, I don't see any visible difference in the structures of the faces. It seems the only "uglification" that the devs did was to tint some skin colors and add a few spots of shadows usually around the nose and mouth.

Not much difference, really. In fact, I think many of them look -better- this way. :twocents:

It's not only tinting and colours, some shapes are adjusted, and the like.

In any case, with an override it's up to everyone, though I'm not really a friend of things showing up differently to different people. Guess we don't have an option to pick which head is shown, or could we just slap them in /additionally/?

Well, it's still not a major problem, and cosmetics should take backseat to the rest... but blazes, some of these are fugly ;o.
