All flights out on Wednesday were cancelled and every hotel room in town was booked from a massive snow storm in Atlanta on Tuesday.
The good news is I spent the night with around 500 of my closest friends including soldiers returning from overseas combat duty and young mothers. We got to enjoy our new friendship even more as most of the airport restaurants, shops, and bars closed around 10 PM.
I could have left on my plane that departed at 11:30 PM but because of such a busy day, the couldn't locate a single flight attendant (we had pilots and a plane... but no flight attendant). Surprisingly, the flight went as scheduled (but empty).
Things were still mess up on Thursday morning (again, they were blaming the massive storm on Tuesday afternoon). I took a picture of one of three the flight boards that all looked exactly the same. ALL CANCELLED. Delta cared so much for us that they opened the customer service counter exactly on time at 7AM (no need to open it earlier) with no extra staffing.

I also had the opportunity to take a picture of the roads in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon. (I went downtown with the intention of staying at a friends via the local train/subway system - until I found out I could leave on Wednesday night little did I know about the flight attendant issue then.)
Yes, that was the condition of the roads.

All said and done, I will NEVER fly Delta again.
