I like the one at the top, Ghost. The one with light brown background and which says "A Neverwinter Nights Persistent World" right under "A Land Far Away". Very nice!

this is just for the back ground overall, not 'The Year of Fallen Hero's Banner'?

i like Number 4, myself. it reminds of the new 3rd ed books especially...

I love #2 and #4. The blue is inviting and refreshing to the eye at the same time. I desperately want to get away from browns, yellows and reds now.

Great work, Ghost.
Enjoy the game

I like 2 ... but can you move the text " A Land Far Away " It is a little difficult to read with the word "Far" over the NWN sigil.
"The reasonable man adapts to fit the world. The unreasonable man adapts the world to suit him. Therefore all progress is achieved by the unreasonable." - unknown

i dont know if my opinion will be taken seriously, seeing as i only got accepted a few days ago, but ill give my two cents anyway.

i like the blues and pnp book feel of two as well, though the logo of one is by far the best - easiest to read and and puts in no uncertain terms that ALFA is a neverwinter nights server.

#2

I like the return to the old blue-ish ALFA website. It makes me feel comfortable with it.
It is also a lot easier on the eyes due to it's color-scheme
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Seconded.
Another thing, is it possible to make the borders around the fields thinner, less clumsy looking
like? Perhaps 2 px wide at the most? It would make the page look a lot more dynamic and
refreshing. Right now they are kinda heavy on the eye.

Let's just be careful with our aesthetic... WotC already pwn3d our maps... lets not get our site design scrutinized as well, eh?

IANAL but unless those devices in the 4 corners are actually copywrited, i wouldnt have thought copying the look of something without copying the exact process for creating it was legal.
