exploring the 99 ways to die? :P Guess having your brains sucked out by a legion of illithid is just as good as having them bashed out by an army of giants.

Regas,
Are we going to organize the expedition to track down that gnome in this thread or elsewhere?

Aglaril has experience in the UD, and can kick some ass. :) May be interested in this if it works out ICly and there's room; it'd be coming full circle for him... maybe even a good way to die.

um.. Yes. Fearless even.

H doesn't mind risking himself, but loathes risking another. He has seen too many friends die... yes, even 1 is too many.

But think about this. You know that fear of the dark that kids get, because they think they might see something moving, some monster in the closet or under the bed... that's just the dark... in the underdark.. it IS so dark you cannot see, and your mind plays those same tricks on you.. but.. it really is monsters moving in the dark, wanting to eat you.

The underdark is where the bogeymen come from. Most sensable people ARE terrified of the place.

Especially when they know they're in over their heads as far as skill/ability! Ah the memories...

-look around-

without explaning myself I just say I hate that RL forced me away from you guys but when I read this I hate current RL even more. I was one with a foul duergar and a "gem-Illthid" and we had alot of fun with dwarfs and elfs and humans betting on how fast they could run before eat their stressed up mind - grins -

you have to fear active DM and not old me but as a friendly hint do know HDMCurm knew how I played lowroad even if you go to my favorite areas for ambushing players. Im just happy the areas still alive and online as once the areas provided great fun for over two years of RP...

as for existing rumors there are well written posts made by players, guess they be hard to find as time add lots of posts but one searching for lowroad/illthid/duergar stuff could find and while most fact was kept IC away from the ordinary man alot was still known of it as wild stories that can be used to build reasons upon.

best of luck and have fun...
