Sneak attack with attack roll spells would hopefully mean critical hits on such as well, would be fun (crits are rather fun generally) for orb tossers, cause wound clerics and... disintegrate tossin' npc's too... maybe someday. The need to prioritize/evaluate payoff vs workload is completely understandable.
