After a series of fails in the wilds on DM quests, with a Search of 1, an open lock of 0, and a Hide/Move silently of -14 I have come to the conclusion the HI group is in need of a scout.

A lawful (or at least not chaotic) Helmite rogue or ranger .....I know it's a tough sell but if you've got the creativity for a backstory we've got the player group!

Broadening my search to requirements from Helmite to "stealthy guy I can trust not to stick a knife in my back while on a quest in the wilds"

Today's quest was a (physically painful) reminder of the need for a rogue in or aligned with the Helmite faction.

Traps going off, missing searchable clues ....bah!

Some ALFAn could get a lot of milage here.....c'mon on in!

With the exception of traps (only +3 skill I think) and locks (n/a) my PC Thoron is a very servicable ranger/scout. Good search, spot, listen, survival, hide and m/s skills. Can more than hold his own in a scrap as well. He is no Helmite (Deity is Rillifane) but as a Member of the Argent Owl rangers would be willing to ally with the Helmites for the right cause. He learned IG last night of what you guys may be involved in and IC is interested. Seek him out IG if you are inclined or shoot me a PM. Playtimes are US EST after 9pm most weeknights except wednesday. He also knows a very skillfull rogue who may join up with him =)

HI has a rich ALFA history and is currently (and inexplicably) low on numbers. I encourage any of our new players (and old-hands also) to give it a go if you find the premise at all interesting.

It has good IG support, and is led by some of ALFA's best (well Dergon, anyway...I'm not sure about that other vampire-smooching, orc-lover ).

Assuming that the group is looking for members, does House Invincible need any particular character types? I've many ideas, but would be interested in hearing if the group has any particular roles it needs filled.

HI's numbers are very low just now, and they need some PC's badly. You might want to wait to hear from Dergon or Brotherhumphrey, but I'm sure they would welcome whatever is fun for you.

A rogue, ranger, or magic-user would be very helpful for them, I think. BH and Dergon are well suited for supplying armoured cover for a skill or magic user to hide behind, heh.
