Quest Shadow Sword Thieves:

After subduing the first, journal updated suggesting there are more (and the questgiver states the quest is not finished yet), those however don't materialise, neither at night, day, nor after a server restart.

Presumably you mean after killing the first of the thieves? Though subdual works on NPCs, it's certainly not set up to trigger quest completion at this point. Possible it could be manages for certain quests, but that would be on the future to-do list. Just as a general FYI, use of nonlethal combat mode for static scripted quests is likely to raise some hitherto unencountered quest strangeness. I'd recommend against it as a general rule unless the NPC questgiver specifies otherwise.

If you got the quest state message after using subdual, I don't know how to squish that bug. If you killed the bad guy, I don't know how many times I've fixed this quest but I'll have another look. The good news is, I know all the things it's done wrong in the past, if something reverted!
Enjoy the game

Knocked him first, party member then slew him, message of quest progress was triggered then (both PCs on quest). Still, no progress / more shadow swords on the quest.

Is it intentional that the Smiling Sartyr only carries a single item of each beverage in their assortment?

Yes, they're sick and tired of drunken brawls causing destruction of property, so they make sure that either everyone gets a single drink, or only one person can get really, really drunk, making it easier to deal with him...
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.

Fochlucan: Anfaeris' Muse

The journal entry for this quest remains in my active tasks even though the quest was completed. There is no text attached to the journal entry and when speaking to Anfaeris, the conversation allows me to aquire her room key limitless times. However, when I go into the room itself the trigger to spawn her 'muse' will not fire and I'm left with the active journal entry and several useless keys.

6d Silverymoon: Lady's College - Ground Floor

The Conjuration dormatory section seems to be missing a couple of walls. Normally I would be patient over such a minor visual bug, however in this case it allows casual passers by to spy into my room so Venrill would appreciate the return of his privacy. ;)

I'll set the Satyr''s drinks to infiinite. Kalev, do you have two Muse journal entries? (Two completely different records of quests, I mean.) I fixed the spelling a month or more ago when I fixed the quest states. I thought this would make the misspelled quest vanish on login/out because the server refreshes journal entries then. If you have only one, can I have the exact spelling of it? It sounds like between this and the Shadow Swords, something reverted recently. I'll look into it.

What exactly are you doing in your room that requires such privacy? Hmmm? Will fix.

No, just the one entry. The exact spelling of the entry is the same as in my original post, but here's a screenshot so you can see how it looks in game as well.

Wouldn't you like to know? :P

The DMFI system has seen fit to bestow my "dumb as a log" half Orc the knowledge of four languages. One common, one racial, and two regional. Methinks that's a bit over his head.

Oddly enough, them's the rules as far as I could tell. You automatically get the regional language(s) of your starting area: for Silverymoon/Silver Marches, it's both Illuskan and Chondathan by the table in the FRCS. Halfelves automatically get elven, halforcs automatically get orcish. PCs also automatically get Common or Undercommon, depending on their subrace.

If your dimwitted half-orc was a druid, it would get "Druidic" on top of the rest.

Intelligence score only comes into play when considering how many "bonus" languages you get to choose. Speak language ranks should work similarly in that respect, once they're available.

5d Quaerrvar: Blacksmith - the merchants Terezar and Zarazin Korda make no appraisal roll.

Also: I can't get out of there; the transition first reports Goblins on the other end, then proceeds to ask me to click again. Again. Again. Again...

That's because you have a dumb as a log half-orc. The AT wants to be dead certain he understands the peril he's getting himself into.

While I recall a message about it being fixed, the kitchen of 5d Quaervarr: the Whistling Stag still has a one-sided wall. And there's still no-one selling booze.

yes, somehow the module keeps being reverted as far as fixes. Fortunately, I have all of the fixes I've done saved, so I can just resubmit The Whistling Stag fixes I did.
