New group on TSM - Rivermoot

Post by HEEGZ »

Hello. Just letting people know I'm forming a new group for play centered on Rivermoot. The theme will be fighting the undead plague spilling out of the mountains north of the village. I plan to be online US evenings during the week for an hour or two. I can't make it every night, but have a few people offer to join already.

I will be playing a level one PC, and I am hoping for a dark and gritty style of play/RP against the undead. We have some possibility of ad hoc DMing already offered, which is nice. Also, my PC(s) will be themed after the continuing IC events of the undead menace, and I plan to stick to it for the time being. Also, I'm hoping to pursue a more PW style of play centered around the hub of Rivermoot, as opposed to the campaign style play I'm currently enjoying on MS.

If you are interested feel free to hop on and join us. I am hoping for dangerous lower level play for myself, but any highbies that join are welcome of course.

Unfortunately, US evenings continue to not work for me outside an occasional day here or there.

I'm almost tempted. Can you be more specific about the times you'd be on, so I can see if there's overlap?

Still, I'm sure they'd appreciate the occasional encounter left around to spice things up. Since you're a lazy, uncreative mook I'd even volunteer to post the rumour thread hints for those :P.

Right now; Im looking at running my Mid lvl cleric if that all cool and the gang. If he isn't a good fit, or too high of lvl for the crew then I'll look at other options.

My first PC already died, and I'm still equipping my new PC, a paladin of Torm or Helm.

My son is probably going to play his lowbie dwarf again.

Kalas makes three with his paladin.

I'm likely to be on during US EST 9pm-11:30pm range. I may just loiter about randomly at other times as well, but I usually have an hour or so free every night, if not longer. I have generally been reading at this time, but I'm going to log in and read while I wait for people to join, then hold off on reading once I have people to RP with.

Looks like it will be a mix. Mick and I have new PCs. My son's is low level already. I would prefer starting new PCs TBH, but if any existing PCs show up it won't bother me in the slightest. I'm mostly wanting to RP around an undead theme. I just think it will be way more intense with lowbies...

HEEGz, I do believe I would like to join ye.

Since Bu is way too high level for it, I just might have to break ALL TRADITION and my own heart in the process, and make a SECOND PC.
[[Yes, Veilan, you now have full rights to beat the shit out of my hypocritical ass. I deserve it for doing this, but things really HAVE changed around here...and this is far enough away from Bu and his affairs that it just seems like a great opportunity to play a PC with risk again, sometimes it's tiring being immune to death]]

I will very hopefully run into you HEEGz/anyone on TSM/Rivermoot.

In case you need to know what class i'll have I will probably have this:

A Mage, Cleric, Paladin, Fighter, Druid, Ranger, Rogue or Monk. Elven, Human, Half-Orc, Dwarf or Lamasu.

Basically I could roll absolutely anything except a gnome or bard, since both those ideas are just plain horrible in every way.
