AK's Scheduling Thread - and other matters

Post by Analogkid »

Anyways, normal game day is Saturday evening, though the exact hours can vary as those of you already in may have noticed. There can be other days, though those may be more of an ad hoc nature, yet perhaps still tied to whatever occurs on Saturdays.

Today (4/11) I plan to be on around 4-7 pm PST.

I'd recommend that it might be a good idea for us (players) to plan some things ahead of time rather than simply showing up waiting for something to happen; this group does have a few leads to work with.

Failure to follow up on one of the leads may have already resulted in a tragedy that might have been preventable.

Off the top of my head the more obvious leads we have:

the purchased/freed slave (was slaves plural, but now down to one)
the favorite watering hole of the slaver that sold the slaves
lizardfolk troubles

other options are possible certainly, but these are the most obvious ones.

I'll leave it at that; Aglaril's rarely going to call the shots at this point for IC reasons that I think are pretty evident, unless there's a complete breakdown of initiative on the part of others.
Formerly: Aglaril Shaelara, Faerun's unlikeliest Bladesinger
Current main: Ky - something

It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

Thank you to Ith for showing up. Anyways i'll make another attempt at 8:00 AM PST 4/19. If not, the next attempt will likely be Friday 4/24 evening, and then Saturday 4/25 will be the regular scheduled session.

It took awhile to get things going but thank you to those who showed up last night (4/25). I'll also from now on try to set aside some time on sunday mornings such as now 4/26 from about 7:30-10:00am PST for anyone interested as well.

I apologize, I had to reschedule something from earleir in the week to last night and could not get away.

There will likely be no session at the usual time 4-7 pm PST today. In addition I may see about rescheduling the time due to the generally poor showings at the usual time.

Well with the issues of hosting MS for the time being, there wont be any session today at the usual time 4-7pm pst, same with tomorrow morning.

On the other hand, I am considering starting up a new low level based campaign if there's any interest from players. There would be much sailing the seas is all I can say. Perhaps in the level ranges of 1-3. If anyone is interested in this let me know.

I just want to let people know that i'm still here and still want to DM, if anyone is interested in a regularly weekly lowbie campaign involving the high seas let me know.
