Welcome to Nightvale

Post by boombrakh »

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Pure and undiluted brilliance, i'd say.

The first episode certainly has me intrigued, but this doesn't seem the sort of thing to binge on. So I'm saving the next mp3 for the right time.

I'll give you that it's probably not wise to listen to more than two to three episodes in one sitting. I'd like to listen to one or two and just let my imagination paint incredible pictures, filled with weird scenery and impossible mental images.
