Re: DM & Player Props
Thank you all (dm and players) for a very enjoyable game.
Re: DM & Player Props
Thanks for the fun and scary dungeon dive and wizard paranoia.
Re: DM & Player Props
I want to thank DarkMystic for all the energy and time he put in over the course of his time as a DM on BG. You created interesting non-linear and entertaining stories. You managed to balance action, adventure, social and goofy like none other. I will never forget the Three-Eyed Gnoll whos laughter still plague the Wood of Sharp Teeth. Nor will I forget the incredible story about the Red Death.
Good stuff, sorry to see you go.

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Re: DM & Player Props
I would like to put out a big "thank you!" and say how impressed I am by Ronan's DMing.
Last night was a long session with a large high-level party, lots of server lag and player crashes to deal with while managing complex spell casting baddies and having to keep the plot going forward while tons of out-of-engine mechanics were being thrown around left and right...... and it was all fluid and fun.
You Sword's Edge folk got it good!

And to OGR who played gracefully and went into the light when his PCs story came to a close.

Oh for sure, OGR! Always a class act.
I Feel IC and OOC guilty for the foreshadowing RP ahead of the happening.

Hully was awesome if you had time to read his emotes and watch his shadowdancing. Which oddly I did in the many long pauses.

Many thanks to Heegz, Ronan, and Lokan who made last night's ceremony possible. Events like that always serve to draw people together and make for a stronger community.
Thanks for giving my character her moment in the limelight.
