It sounds promising, though I am not sure how good a sequel will be set outside of the Planescape setting. Then again, it wasn't the setting that made the game truly great, so it could still work.
Planescape: Torment sequel potentially in the works.

Planescape, ah, like a good wine.
And, since the whole thing about planescape is about the fact that it is the Multiverse, it means that whatever setting you chose can be a planescape setting. You just never visit any copyrighted locations.
Also, I would be quite happy with a spiritual sequel rather than a straight sequel. Now excuse me, I'm busy PGing it up in Baldurs Gate with Minsc and Boo.

Dorn and Neera are awesome.

First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd
Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"

I love Planescape: Torment. I still play it once a year, even with how dated it is, because the story is amazing and everything is just... it's not even rose-tinted glasses, I love it; however, that being said...
This worries me. I don't want to see the "true sequel" be something like Fallout: New Vegas and its ilk being the "true sequels" to Fallout 1 & 2. I cannot fathom PS:T not being the general RPG experience that we all put faith into the Project Eternity Kickstarter for. I do hope it keeps to the true, memorable PS:T.Article wrote:Speculation about the project started in earnest after McComb—who has also worked on Fallout: New Vegas...

They've always said this, fortunately. Even if they got the Planescape setting, it wasn't going to be a straight sequel. TNO's story is finished.Joos wrote: Also, I would be quite happy with a spiritual sequel rather than a straight sequel.
