I don't know what happened to CNS; When he disappeared and the group cleric died, that put a nail in the coffin since other DMs didn't fill in the slot effectively. kid gave it a go, but it was somewhat inconsistent.

Shame too, since CNS was awesome and actually worked with me and my PCs background.

You have misquoted me.

Alfa levelling, if anything, is too fast, especially with all the statics available. This can come at the expense of character developments as all of a sudden "Charlie of Rivermoot" hits level 4 in less than a month and still isn't sure what he wants to do with his life (or even what his parents names are).

But he does have a big glowy sword now so "woooohooooo!".

We'll just have to agree to disagree, as we have fundamentally different mindsets on this.

Guys, don't derail the thread please. This train is bound for Gameville and won't be stopping at B-Game station.

Not so sure about the re-roll / temp retirement bit tho; I have a pattern of not returning to a PW game once my one and only PC retires/shuffles off this mortal coil. (I don't have alts in MMOs either, not even a mule. Weird, I know.) I'm not saying that this is a pattern carved in stone, there's always a first time. We'll see.

Sorry IKP.

Quite right,

I'd suggest a roll call of all Euro players who might be interested in a Euro group, and take it from there. I can think of quite a few of the top of my head, but I don't want to out any one as being Euro.

It'd also be a good place to snag any Euro players who turn up from the MS open month.

I'm actually quite reasonable when it comes to debates :p

A roll call also assumes a lot of Euro players bother with the forums. I know a couple players who simply don't care to deal with it. Might want to poke on the servers as well as here... quite possible a lot of players simply don't know about the OAS plans. Should poke Hialmar to put up a thing on the main news page about it.

I'm languishing in the TSM DM Twilight Zone* until MS is connected to the Vault after its OA period but if something can be restarted thereafter I'll be there with little, luminous green ear rings on.

* Although, typically, on the one, one occasion I see a DM I have to bail to save my city from an evil criminal genius. (Well, save my gf from an errant electrical appliance.)
