Enough with the running!

Post by dergon darkhelm »

I know I'm no DM, but....

Man, it sure seems like a lot people are running around a lot these days. THe distances between areas are already compressed, you shouldn't be running in between.

Save running for IC when you're fleeing or charging, not for overland travel.

This old hat again? Running without good IC reason is and always has been considered poor RP and counter to ALFAs rules.

Tell me who's running and I'll make sure they'll run no more.

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

yes pls PM us the names...this is beyond silly. If you are not being chased or haven't fallen far behind your party while walking, you should walk.

You stole that box from Jayde. CHAOS POINT.

Yes. I do know a couple of people who have their PCs do a lot of running through town.

They aren't actually going anywhere, they literally are training. They say, "I must go train", step outside, RP stretching out, run around the town twice, then RP cooling down.

Running for no reason can be a valid part of your RP!

How do you know they aren't role playing that they are riding a horse. If the lazy dms had made some horses by now..........
