I've been hoping to bump the wee Hin into Brier's knee because I suspect that they could form the country bumpkin double act of the eon (or at least the week) with neither having the faintest idea what the other is prattling on about. I pitty the DM[1].

I have to give a shout to Brier, who is indeed an excellent character to play with.

Also, player props must be given to all of the Wind Rose. It has been wonderful, silly fun hanging out with you lot in the past weeks.... even if Leif is only kept around for comic relief and fighting giants.

Glad you're enjoying him. Instead of your usual strong-silent type, I thought I'd go for a blabbermouth who doesn't talk for weeks at a time because things might eat him. Then... when he's around other people and feels safe...

Double-country-bumpkin sounds good. Maybe he'll carve you something, too.

I want to give some props to Mick for his RP of Sliver both during and after the fight with the dragon in Cloud/Regas event last night. Two Natural 1 will save rolls against dragon fear were played to perfection, and provided the opportunity for some very IC story based RP for my toon in the midst of what was probably the fight of their lives.

Sliver's reaction to Lief's comment to Tanos about "how bravely he fought" at the Hawk's Nest after the fight was over was also incredibly immersive, and I am certain will lead to more interesting RP. IMO this is exactly the type of immersive roleplaying that gives greater meaning to epic battles and dugeon crawls (which was awesome don't get me wrong) and adds to the characters' life stories. Thanks Mick.

I had to rp that one fairly cluelessly given the character, but yes, it was beautifully done. Props!

I want to thank everyone who comes out to adventure with the Wind Rose of late; I know events have been confusing and hectic from a single session or interspersed stand point, but the contributions made by other characters to our adventures, whether they are positive or negative for the group, are always welcome. Don't feel bad OOC about any IC interaction we have, be it saving Olaf's ass or making absolutely terrible distracting puns (Hairy Potter); I know I don't.

So thanks to the players of Alyra, Sywyn, Chris, Lett, Sigrin, Tahir, Leif, Jendari, Berendil, Brier, and everyone else who has traveled with us of late on one crazy adventure or another.

And a big thanks to the other members of the Wind Rose; humoring the curiosity of a gnome isn't easy, but you three always bring out aspects of my own character that wouldn't exist but for the interactions we've had. As fellow players, I know I'm bound to have fun when you're around, even if we're running for our lives in screaming terror. :)

As for next week Wednesday, maybe something with less screaming terror wouldn't hurt though. I'll see you all then if you can make it.

Just thought I'd give props to all who make alfa such an interesting place to be. Yes. This means you.

Indeed, Kudos go out to everyone involved this evening,
Dan, as always you made Garlus incredibly good fun to be around, love the fact you type out everything phentically

Keryn throwing me in the deep end was priceless for me as I genuinely had to think hard and fast on what to say to the drawf shaking me about!

Faedra makes for a great new bard addition, Kudos!

Dergon, your portrayal of Rathalan was impeccable as ever.

Everyone else, a huge thanks for a great evening, exactly what the doctor ordered!

Gotta give it up for OGR. You always bring good and interesting RP, but your play of Tars is particularly special.

It is an honor to get to game with you. :)

Kudos to Lakhena for coming up with a way to make trouble and get other PCs involved on a mini 'quest' that has nothing to do with statics, without any DM involvement (although a little DM action at some point would make this perfect and help resolve the 'crime') :)

A few folks that need thanking recently:

The Wind Rose: Fox, Aalyah, and Elleia (hurry back soon Kaleb!). Adventuring with you guys is always a blast, DMs or no, and I look forward to continuing those adventures with you all.

Persephone: An interesting take on a relatively rare concept type. The emotions portrayed fit really well with what one would expect given what Olaf knows of her past. Looking forward to seeing this character develop.

Elleia: Making warlock more than just a class. Really loving the expansion of your character as time progresses.

Garlus: Have had some great sessions with you recently regarding in game actions. Always good to see the big guy around, gruff as ever.

Zyrus: What can I say? A water genasi must be tricky to pull off, but you do a very very good job of it. Olaf has had a great time explaining this new dry world to him.

Tahir: Onioooooon Mage. Keep showing off that aura of frustration.

And everyone else who has been on TSM lately. It's been great having a variety of old and new faces around, and even when the DMs have been busy with real life it's been fun adventuring / hanging out / recounting past horrors.
