Whos the boss now?
I was wondering who is the HDM? I've got 2 months until uni starts, and feel like building one or two areas. If you want, send me a pm. I did the glacier and the area off the mountain path out of rivermoot.

Probably you understood that, but just in case: Curmudgeon is the HDM.
The glacier area is brilliant...haven't looked at the other yet, but I think I'll take a deep breath and poke my fellow in there soon (uhmm...meaning my PC, not...well....).
Anyway...thanks for the help, I know it's greatly appreciated by all.

Re: Whos the boss now?
One aside as well; the Silver Marches module is getting pretty huge (2.35 gigabytes now), and I suspect it's having an effect on stability at this point. The PWC alone is well over a gigabyte now. We've had a number of mystery problems in module management, most recently with an entire towns' worth of interiors disappearing without any explanation. The mod will be yet larger once those are recovered from an older module.
So, I'd suggest focusing on adding/improving/fleshing interiors, or revising some of the existing exteriors (esp. the highways), rather than tooling up more resource-heavy huge exteriors. We've got a lot in the module that doesn't see much use already, whether because it's too far out of the way; somewhat unfinished, or just visually uninspiring.

Re: Whos the boss now?
Just a suggestion here. As AL mentioned several rather large and relatively unvisited areas, I thought of the trail leading from QV to WE, or the back trail from RM to WE, for example. Since most of those areas are square and there is not really much to do in them, would it not be better to make them narrower, cutting out a large chunk on either side of the road, but still giving a bit of maneuvering room, should any events wind up using those "corridors" and folks need to get off the road (ringwraiths hunting for those pesky bagginses, or instance). That could cut down on some of the module's bloat, while still keeping the distances the same for anyone who needs to travel.
<paazin> Elves I bet are kinda fun to play.
<BH|werksux> I prefer the trumpet or clarinet

Rugo:
You have got to check out El Cadaver's mountain road from RM to WE. The first area is one of my favorites. Would be nice to have some ferocious spawns roaming around up there *cough* hill giants *cough cough* trolls *clears throat and spits* Ogres even =)

Re: Whos the boss now?
Yes, I was a little disappointing I wasn't running for my life while checking out the scenery. I'm even thinking a faerie danger type scenario. grigs and dryads and such
FYI, I did the first area, not the second one.

Re: Whos the boss now?
I seriously hope this is -not- considered, these areas were quite recent additions just before our previous awesome HDM left and EC work that remains unfinished, but gives some wilderness for the more nature related PCs to work with. They do need some work though, and I'm not sure what it is expected from them but will investigate nod nodBrother Humphrey wrote:Just a suggestion here.
