Just a follow up gang and a sorry to boot.
I spend a fair bit of time at the cottage thru the summer and we've had some kick ass storms this year so the powers been knocked out while I was away. I've picked up a battery pack to prevent a server loss during a power outage and when I'm in town I moniter the server contantly so I expect the lengthy downtime of a couple of weeks ago will be a rarity in the future.
Remember tho, yer chances of yer PC dying is way down when the servers out.
