I'm fairly sure that you still need the grab the BG pwc manually. But I suppose it's possible Acadius and Ayergo set it up to work with worldgate by now.Lenaxis wrote:I am up to date on worldgate.

Alas, I'm not seeing Western Heartlands online in GameSpy at the moment or when I try to direct connect to its IP address.
87.96.177.62
There are however, several NWN1 servers online.
Moonshaes, Northern Cormyr, Sembia & Shadowdale

- Currently NWN1 ALFA: Ryld Ky'bler
Currently NWN2: Gwindor Faelivrin, still not actually dead!
Formerly: Timyin Tim, Glorfindel Inglorion and Beleg Thalionestel amongst others.
Not only is it not on worldgate, BG currently uses few if any of the ALFA haks.

Am I looking in the wrong forum?
Right forum, right thread even. Wrong page though. It's been down since saturday.darrenhfx wrote:Looks like she's down and I can't connect remotely.

Not to be disrespectful to the host of course... but maybe we should find a different hosting machine? Its been down three days now. Maybe someone a bit more easy to contact? Do DMs share phone numbers with each other or anything? Just a thought, no disrespect.White Warlock wrote:Aye, been down for quite a long time now. Have we been able to get in contact with the Donrath (the host)? After so long a downtime, i am concerned.
Status: Is being beat up by paranoid DMs

Just for perspective, I believe this is the longest TSM has ever been down, since we went Live, three months ago; which is really quite impressive when you consider it. In the PW arena, a 72 hour outage is not such an uncommon thing. The current hosting arrangement has been extremely reliable so far, and unless technical difficulties have arisen with the host rig itself, I would expect it to be similarly reliable in the future.
That said, there is always a call for more hosts, if we have capable members willing to offer a dedicated machine, with remote access. There has also been discussion of arranging centralized hosting with professional support, though that carries with it some other challenges, as it would force us to urge our membership to donate monetarily, which, while appreciated, is not what we ideally would like to make a focus of the community.

Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It's the courage to continue that counts!

"Day three. The men's moral is at an all time low. We do things to keep ourselves busy such as play Solitaire on the computer and surf the Forums but, the dreams of ever again double clicking at an enemy orc has shattered. I think about my In-Server wife and children who must think by now that their Tyrian Cleric father/Husband has passed. I dream of some day reuniting with my cyber-love and emoting us lying in bed while i tell her the stresses I feel at this very moment. Then the fear that she will meet some gentle NPC Chauntea Farmer crosses my mind and just as the others, my moral too falls from its grace."
