Looking to join a group/campaign/server - who will have me?

I'm returning after a 2 month hiatus. Are there any groups, campaigns or servers welcoming fresh meat?

I played a while on OAS2, liked it there and was accepted. I rolled a chararacter on TSM2, since that was where all the action was at. I was awed at the quality of the world, DMing and the roleplay, and everyone seemed to be having a great time (sometimes in peculiar ways)... I even had a few good nights of roleplay. But though I tried, I just couldn't get involved or engaged with anything. It was pretty frustrating. After a while I had to give up and decided to focus on other things for a while.

Now I find myself longing again for a worthwhile roleplay experience. I want to avoid the disappointment and frustration of last time though, so I figured I should try it this way.

I'm not looking for anything in particular. In fact, I'm looking for everything in particular. I'm open to pretty much anything. I enjoy playing an antagonist the most, and am not adverse to losing, as long as I lose with style! Don't mind if I will make you work hard before that happens though. Besides that, I enjoy the role of heralds and diplomats, and agents of something 'bigger'.

I play in the +1 timezone. ATM I'm working shifts, so I could in fact play at the American and Australian peaktimes. I have both NWN1 and 2 and all the expansions.

Glad to see you back. We have quite a few player groups on the server now all of whom would love to have a new member to add to their numbers. I am hoping that we will see an increase in DMs over the next few weeks (hint) so don't give up hope.

It seems most of the replies above are for our NWN2 server, but I would also like to suggest our NWN1 servers. These servers are more of a scheduled session server so if you want to know you have a game to count on each week this might work well for you. I have played for years on Sembia, so I am biased to this server, however, I know the others have wonderful DM's also with a range of times.

If you would like more details on the NWN1 server I would be more than willing to tell you what I know. Where ever you decide to play, enjoy!!!

in the NWN1 vein, Shadowdale has both server and a couple groups. There is even rumor of a campaign starting soon.

I'm going to give the NWN2 server another try, though I'd like to start playing on a NWN1 server too.

Would one of those on NWN1 server mind taking in an apprentice (IC) or something like that? Shadowdale and Sembia both sound good to me.
