Ruins Screenshots....

Post by Racerblue »

I think these are done. Most of the models are pictured, but there are a few I didn't squeeze in.

Magic. Such an oversight from the game, and now remedied in such style.

Well done.

Unfortunately Thang, they aren't. I didn't learn how to properly make a tint map. I can apply them though, if someone here knows how to make 'em.

actually I do know how to make them..

but they need to be referenced in the mdb to be useable and I dont know how to do that yet..

If you can do that bit I can make them all tintable for you. Actually I think Acadius might know something about this. I seem to remember him making cloaks or armour or something tintable awhile back.

I just added some of Heed's Tint packs off the vault to our haks- not much know-how involved with that part. The only direct tinkering I've done with MDBs is some swapping of skins/textures, with a hex editor (really just changing an existing model to point at a different image file). Never tried adding additional "layers" for tinting or normal masks, wouldn't know how to do that with the tools I've used. Probably some info out there on it, though.

If you know how to make the tint maps Thang, I know how to apply them. Adding the tintable maps wouldn't take long at all.

sweet, well if you get me the diffuse and normal maps I'll make you some tint maps.. only problem is I cant test them so you'll need to apply them and send back any that needs tweaking with instructions okay?

May I put in a request for snow-covered ruins?
No hurry of course, but they might be useful for a few locales. ;)
