If , as looks likely, we do go with SP I think its absoloutley vital there is a close working relationship between SP and WD DM teams. In the past there was a lack of this and it led to some astounding plot inconsistencies and changes in NPC behaviour. The two are so close to each other (all be it straight down) that there is a lot of crossover between major NPCs and PCs.

This thread got dug up from a few weeks back by Sand, but the issue was decided on back then too.
Skullport exterior is largely built and I've finished the tile layout of the relevant section of Level 1 of Undermountain today. Hopefully by week's end I'll have Lv2 and Lv3 done (relevant sections only....probably 1/10th of the overall level) so that it's possible to walk from Skullport to Waterdeep and back.
The design of UM will be to facilitate travel primarily. Obviously threats will exist if you wander off the path. There's plenty of time to flesh UM out once the server is in beta.
