We now total around $745.
Less actually due to some paypal problems but hopefully it will be okay soon.
Thank you very much.

This really is terrific news. Thanks to all of you who're digging into your pockets and donating to the project. This is a tremendous encouragement to the folks who work hard for ALFA behind the scenes.
Thank you!

Just a note to say that the donation level is still the same: $745.
I have paid for the last term of the dedicated server in November.
So that would be about $100 less but I had some credit with server pronto so in fact we are about the same.

We are now $100 richer thanks to a generous donor.
I'd like to renew my thanks to all the generous persons who have given for our infrastructure.

I paid for the website for this year therefore we have $93,24 less now.
On mid February I'll also pay for the next three months of the vault computer which will cost us $89.43.

A generous donor gave us $50.
I can't currently post the exact donation level because of some donations that are on the way.
However we are safe for quite some time (several months).

It's definitely time to have a discussion about the cost of the vault computer (that's for NWN1 only, right?). Can't someone just host it locally? $1 a day just seems excessive.

But... but... it's ALFA... if someone hosts it locally, they'll access it and see everyone's stats... and... and... and then they'll modify people's stuff to get some kind of advantage over them...

This computer also hosts NWN2's central database and soon the beta vault.
If we cannot use webdrive to access the central vault then we would be better re-thinking this but as long as it suits both NWN1 and NWN2 ALFA I think $1 a day is not that expensive.
