Yay, I have my title back!
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

OK, I get that enemies respawning is there for the horror, never knowing what's going to be around the corner even if you were just there, aspect of the game but having splicers appear where they couldn't have gotten to without passing you, and gun turrets appearing where they weren't 1 minute ago... I think it's asking for too much suspension of disbelief and with the other minor logical problems, detracts from the game. This isn't supposed to be some mindless FPS, it's a story in FPS format and so has to be more believable.

I'm afraid I can only give it 8.86 out of 10.

I'm up to Arcadia at the moment. Looks great! Are you all rescuing or harvesting the little sisters?

HARVEST >:F

I just used a combination of security target and enrage to make a battle royale with two big daddies fighting each other and being attacked by security bots and splicers all at the same time, while I lobbed frag grenades into the middle of the whole mess. It was glorious.

I'm rescuing, because I'm such a nice guy! You don't get too much worse off in the end, and you get some nice presents.

I get one big daddy to attack the other and, if my one wins, I wait for him to pick up another little sister then I finish him off with a grenade or a turret. ;)

My thoughts on it, since I find myself in total agreement with the poster.

Suspension of disbelief? It's a game about wildly mutating arms that spew bees in a city on the bottom of the ocean. ;p

As a game it gets 10/10 from me.

Eh, it's definitely a good shooter but I had been hoping for something that not only is a good shooter but crosses out of that realm - not gotten very far but I haven't seen that yet.

The activation thing is still there. They're removing the install limits and whatnot. SecureROM is still there, but if that's seriously a problem I hope you don't play any games. Copy protection sucks but it's apparently here to stay, and basically every game uses SecureROM now. NWN2 for example. I activated it on release day just fine, I'm not sure what he's complaining about there. I'm not sure about the complaints on responses from the company, I saw Ken Levine posting on release day. Most of them are on vacation right now since they've been working twelve hour days, seven days a week for the last six months. Waiting a couple days doesn't seem like too much to ask.

On topic, I just finished and it's fucking awesome. I'll be surprised if this isn't game of the year.
