Out of curiosity, how does one get from MySpace to ALFA? I don't see any hyper links.

It would be good to link directly to our home page as well as our game servers page (http://www.alandfaraway.org/serverstatus.php) to showcase what we've got wherever we are trying to promote the project.

You didnt look well enough then. I have a link to our website in the About Me section. Its not a hyperlink, but one can figure out how to type in an address into a browser.

The server status is a great, idea, btw. It would be cool if on Myspace we could show a live updated(snapshot) of whats currently up and players on, etc. Although, just a link would work, but not as snazzy.

I saw the actual domain name noted on the page, but it wasn't a hyper link (obviously) and it's not prominently displayed on the page. Does MySpace prohibit the use/creation of hyper links or are you just not sure how to create them? If you envision this web page as a gateway to ALFA, the easier you make it on the end user to navigate the better it will function in that regard.

But I steer well clear of MySpace so take my feedback with a grain of salt.

If you want to be added as a friend to the Alandfaraway Myspace page please send me a message stating who you are in ALFA already or if your a new member interested in ALFA send me a message stating that your interested in the project. This doesnt apply to authors, game designers, fantasy clubs, musicians, etc. I can sift through those pretty easily. I just want to try and cut down on the spam we all seem to get from those silly Cam chics and other nonsense.

Check out our blog section. Inaubryn was kind enough to allow us to repost two of his stories for the Myspace website. It would be awesome if we could actually get the ALFA Herald up and running again. If anyone would be interesting to do this we should brainstorm! Need someone good with Adobe/Photoshop, etc and we need writers to submit new material

took them down, but might re-add them later. the player seems to lag the crap out of the site. Will look into it again later today. Still looking for stories, screenshots, etc from our members.

Just a reminder!

If you make a comment on the ALFA Myspace page please DO NOT include huge pictures to go along with it. I have had to delete a few of the pictures because they were so big it was making the page look lopsided

Just keep the pics at a decent size and everything will be awesome...otherwise Ill have a lot of work to do deleting them.
