Fallen Sword

Post by krbang »

If any of you need a work-friendly passtime, check out Fallen Sword. *points to signature*

Its a HTML-based fantasy multiplayer-thingey.. Don't get your hopes up though.. its not _that_ much fun, but its strangely addictive.

And if you don't want to play, if you could register anyway that would be nice. That way I'll get points to buy phat lewt for.

Its free by the way.. and no spam or anything like that either. (perhaps apart from this post.. :D )

Who else is playing this apart from krbang, Aelred and myself? Aelred gave me 11,000gp because he had a bounty on his head for PvPing. And because I have so much gold now I've been PvPed down to 5,500gp... I figure I could spend what's left of the rest when I get home from work on an ALFA guild. Or is there a guild already?

I just started playing now. Name is Zasha and I invited NickD and Aelred as allies. Krbang what is your name in the game?

I opened a shadow thieves guild - NickD joined - gonna send you guys invites - Im trying to specifically target lowlvl people with really high bankrolls - if you PvP hit with more stamina you get more gold - and on top of that the guild points will go into thievery to increase anything you would take - check on the guild chat for good victims

It is kinda silly Danu - but addictive too!

I'm not really into PvP. If your evil ways gets me targetted, I'm going to be upset.

Whats the saying about when you lay down with theives....the guild will be targeted big time - Im sure - so prepare yourself - for some evilness! - Let me know when you want out - there is a sweet KICK out button...but all those bonuses....are they worth the price of turning over to the dark side?

I'd love to join, as long as there isn't any hardcore requirements to how much you have to play each day.. been looking for a guild, but most of them require you to play every waking hour. Which is exactly the opposite reason for me playing this. :D

Nice post with tips on where to go to gain XP.

I actually won the lottery when I was lvl 1.. spent it all in the auction house by now though.. Got some FSPs from people registering through my signature here, gonna put them in the guild.. (one needs fsp to build structures right?)

Oh, and if people could be arsed to just register with a spam-mail account even if not interested in playing that would be great. It takes two minutes, and helps us get points to make an uberl33troxxingOMGPGguildz00or.

I've started a character but am kinda lost as far as where to go from here.

Name is Magonushi

[EDIT] Hmm...

Game is kinda annoying. I reached lvl 2 and boosted up my attack but every couple of rats still kills me and sets me back in XP 20x what each rat is worth.

I think I'll have to say no thanks to this sort of game grinding.

[EDIT #2] Yeah, I think I'm going to have to pass on this game. Just fought lvl 1 creatures as a lvl 3 with equiptment and went from 805 XP to 451 XP because each victory awarded 1-4 xp and each loss costed 50+ xp. With 20 victories and 8 losses I can only imagine how much more enjoyable grinding is at the higher levels.

Screw that.
