Ho dang. Hello ALFA!

Not strictly a new member, all but though. I used to play on NC, I had a burnout about a year ago during some exams, but when I came back I just couldn't get into the swing of it again and ALFA was soon forgotten, I lent my NWN & expansion packs to a friend and got into MMORPG's with a friend (The ultimate evil of paying for games, I know, I was ill and my parents paid for it and the monthly bill was soon forgotten... blah blah blah)

ANYWHO another year of school ( remember Traind saying something along the lines of Holy sh!t! Kids play ALFA?! ) Hah, and it's the holidays, my friend's been getting into CD cracks, so whadya know, I've been given back an abundence of games I never even realized I lent her, how exciting. Among those was NWN and my various expansion packs. FFXI is nice, but there's very little in the way of roleplay, community spirit, anything like that, everyone is so materialistic and it's all a level grind. Sure I got some great friends there, but nothing comes close to the kinds of people I met in ALFA, especially the likes of Voran, Swift (Emela!) names I can't remember, but that physcho little halfling that used to run around NC with her flaming dagger among others. Playing ALFA is honestly, one of my best and most memorable online experiences.

I was impressed I could still remember my password o_O lucky for me I'm a lazy bugger and use the same password for everything, hurray! On the chatroom, there's a load of names I recognize, and even better some people that recognize me! *heart warmed*

Leaving on holiday from the 3rd for 10 days (damnit -_- ) but I'll be reinstalling NWN and going on a mad hack pack downloading mood tomorow before I leave, maybe pop onto the OAS for a refresher course. Oh em gee, I'm sure I shoudln't be so happy to be back. Pshaw. My GSID is Venom_Wyvern if I remember correctly. I hope it is at least, thats all I can remember o_o.

Well, neat back then, my standards have gone a little higher and someone more styalized over the past year or so :D

I'd forgotten how long it takes to download the hak packs -_- thank goodness for Broadband connections. Still do the occasionally artsy bits, maybe I'll post some up later :)

Big welcome (back) from a relatively new ALFAN. Can't wait to see some of your work(s), meet you ingame, and/or hear about your future adventures. Swing on by SD sometime if "nature" calls... I've an aspiring young druid who'd love some mentorship. 8)

Oooh, you don't want me as a mentor. It never turns out well. NWN installed and finally all the haks downloaded. I forgot how long it took to get those -_-, downloading en masse especially. New banner and avatar now as well, hurray!

'Twas ooc but this is an ooc fear!
