I use them all the time on NPCs, purely for vfx properties... so I voted 3. Not that it matters at this point, considering the voting results so far.

Not too hard to make a VFX wand that will light up your NPCs if that's all you want.

The Petrification spell will still make them stony -- if you want statues...

I'm sure you know this (I'm repeating it for the people who don't) but you can place VFX on NPCs or objects by using the command "dm_visualeffect ## dd". Where ## is the VFX number, and dd is the duration in seconds. If you leave the duration field blank, the effect is permanent (assuming that effect can be given a duration at all, ie not a fireball).

More difficult if you don't know the numbers offhand, of course.

How much skin are people showing, whether it's stoned, barked or whatever? If I am stoneskinned, why is my cloak stoned too? I've heard of contact highs but that's stretching a pun too far!

I voted for #1 and say put SS and BS out of our misery.

what can we do to make this happen. wd and selguant have it mostly in place already doesn't seem like it would be that hard.
