Selu's Thoughts by Jack Handey I mean OldWookiee

Post by wookieboy »

Some minor older meta information here

These are a small sample Selu's thoughts as he sits watching rats fornicate nearby:

Ah hells never thought I be stuck in this dank, shite hole of a city;
no more so than in a cell. I know I did what did and why I did it
and who I did it for. The shithole needs me now more than ever.

Walkin the docks at evening, people flee indoors, rushin home as
sunlight fades. Kids screamin to moms why they must stop playin and
hurry home as arms are grasped and pulled. Doors, windows are
shuttered. No one should live a like this.

But ya see, the city does not care what ya done unless it makes it
look bad. By city I mean the Lords, the nobles and the Watch and Guilds.
They will not lift a prick nor finger to help the poor on the Docks.
They care not nor will raise a hand unless their power or comfort is
threatened. Like those with siblings and the....

bah, too many deded and not a name spoken nor honor given so far.

Only few have visited. Alain has not nor has Pawn. First I figured would,
but I know Pawn would never step in and honestly, he is the last one I
would want to see. No one from the Adventurer's Guild as well. I helped
them all to the best I could and they too are no different than the rest
of the city. Only raise a hand when they are crossed or threaten or when in need.

If walk outta this, I will remember. No longer a tool to em. The people of
tha Docks need to know they are not any less than those who reside in the
temples or estates or hide their faces in the name of safety. I will clean em
of the Rats.

I will bring hope to em somehow.

Wish Hans was here, he would know what I should do, he was like a father to me.
He woulda tell me not what I wanted but needed to hear. Miss ya friend.
