Kalo moved to the city of Waterdeep in his early twenties, hailing from the North Sword Coast near Neverwinter. He was amongst the very first of a generation of fortune seekers who began frequenting the Adventurer's Quarter several years ago.
He was a member of the Lhuvenhead Trading Company and an ally of the Adventurer's Lodge. He was known to have taken part in many notable raids and campaigns against enemies of these groups. He was also well known in Daggerford and the surrounding areas, especially his mercenary work for Lord Cromm which is rumored to be the culling of lizardfolk in the hundreds.
Kalo is remembered as a man of few words and a rather nihistic outlook. Among his close companions he was known to have a dry and dark sense of humor, and a taste for wine. He was valued as a fierce combatant and trusted ally on the battlefield , though to some he might have been considered reckless to a fault.
He will be missed at the Safe Haven Inn, and at his favorite eating and drinking establishment, The Sword's Rest. Although he never achieved any great fame or completed and notable grand projects, Kalo's legacy will continue as an inspiration to adventurer's and warriors alike. And among his many adventuring companions who he ventured with, and fought side by side with against foes mighty and terrible, he will live on now only in their memories....
There's a storm inside of us... A burning. A river. A drive. An unrelenting desire to push yourself harder and further ... Pushing ourselves into those cold, dark corners, where the bad things live. Where the bad things fight. We wanted that fight at the highest volume. A loud fight. The loudest, coldest, darkest, most unpleasant of the unpleasant fights.
