Itibin's Catch

Gosh! I know it's short and silly and perhaps of an calibur at odds with the other posts here, but you didn't have to cut it. I defiantly repost!

Itibin, a tiny sprite, was happy through and through. She wanted nothing more from life than chunky chicken stew. No fowl aloft and none to ground, a fish would have to do.

A line and pole she crafted at the marshy river's side. Said Itibin, "Among the reeds a fish must surely hide!" She cast her bait and lay in wait, so still you'd think she'd died.

Splashes sharply broke the peace, the length of line full drawn. She grabbed the pole and slipped in mud to keep the bugger on! Itibin fought valiantly, her hunger not yet gone.

Itibin, the tiny sprite, was happy in her cot. She thought about adventure and the supper that she'd got, and chicken wasn't missed that night with fish that she had caught!

Actually, that was a very well-done, short, cute tale. I'm glad I came about reading it.
