And so we died,
You and I, brothers in death, nemesis in life.
An hour earlier, before our swords first clashed, you told me you despise me.
You despised the one that murdered a child, killed in cold blood and without remorse.
You despised the fact that I've done all you wished to do, but you were held by your laws.
You're rotten more than I ever were, Paladin, "right hand of his god", for your justice is akward as it were swift to decide.
So we danced, a most beautiful dance I must admit. I havent danced like that for an eternity it seemed, the blood boil, I felt more alive than ever for that hour.
And then, we positioned ourselves for once last charge, face eachother looking in to the eyes of another.
Don't think I didnt notice that look of contempt in your eyes when you looked back at me. I could see the hate in your eyes, the desire to kill, not serve justice, you wanted me dead.
Amusing, that when killing something that is claimed evil, its fine to mutilate, execute, torture and quarter, sometimes public, While such a simple murder such as a quick stab to the heart is considered by your kind to be evil.
I despised you at that moment.
And so we rushed at eachother for one last time, our footsteps echoing in the grand hall which we fought in, the sound of our swords clashing, the sparks which lit up the room when our swords brushed.
And then, after exactly seven fends, you finally done it. Your sword pierced through my lower stomach, sending a red gust of blood like a small gazer out of the exit wound.
I fell to my knees, and a moment later, to the floor.
Your justice had been served, as I lay dead now on the cold floor.
You were so rejoiced, finally the great evil man has fallen by the hands of one much worse than he would ever be.
And because of that, I felt bad when I quietly got up to my knees and thrusted my sword through your heart.
Well, it didnt feel that bad actually.
*Chuckle, cough, silence*
