Final riddle by Crexis Perplexis, RIP (All Solved! Jan-18)

Post by ewayneself »

NOTE: For the last riddle, go to the end of the thread.

(Simplified just a smidge) :)

We stand with the frost nearly up to our knees.
The tears that we cry, ere they fall, do they freeze.

At wishful attention, our eldest are shorter
Each year's new mission adds one to our order.

Awake just awhile, good formation we keep.
'Til the wind blows so hard that it puts us to sleep.

New Riddle

Post by ewayneself »

Ever before you and ever behind,
It's where the road leads, wherever it winds.

It's high in the mountains, low in the plains.
Invisible during the snow or the rain.

You won't ever catch it, though quickly you tread.
But a new one you'll find if you just turn your head.

New Riddle

Post by ewayneself »

Young snow elves lay napping--how strange that appears!
Their number, two score plus the months in a year.

Some drow lie with them, in accord, side by side,
Half of their count, plus the days in a ride.

All flat in one bed and each holding a key
to unlock this riddle. Be sharp and you'll see.

New Riddle

Post by ewayneself »

I am a knight come in Majesty's name,
from whence run such rivers of gold.
A glorious city high up on the plain
With subjects of numbers untold.

We travel the countryside seeking sweet treasure,
each of us dressed just alike.
My lance is quite vicious but I must be measured
For martyrdom follows its strike.

I am a knight in her majesty's service.
Yes, Some think me bumbling or fat.
Although my appearance alarms, renders nervous,
When I'm in an old lady's hat.

I love these! That they are from a player character makes them even better. I hope I get the chance to solve one IG. :D
