Prayers of Torm

Mighty Torm, My Lord, My Way,
Enlighten me, in times of unavoidable conflicts,
For I’ll need your implacable conviction,
In the outcome I’ll be a part of.
Flood my heart with courage,
For not fearing death makes me stronger.
Shine on my mind so that my act of faith,
Does not end in a unaccomplished Duty.
Guide my hand which I bring your Judgement with,
For the display of Justice brings Hope to the innocent.
Strengthen me whole when I’ll face incarnations of Evil,
For no followers of the True would accept defeat as an accomplishment.
In the face of the impossible,
Be at my side for my love for you,
Would make failure a feeling of unworthiness.
Do not forgive me easily when I’m weak,
Cause each false step takes me farther from the Truth.
Bless me with the essence of Duty,
For your Exemplary Sacrifice in Tantras,
Showed me that you’ll always be there,
To carry the Weight of Duty with me.
As this feat made you stronger,
Show me wisdom to learn from smaller ones.
Mighty Torm, My Lord, My Way,
I humbly aspire, to be as strong as thee.
