Chapter 1
13 days without anything to eat, nor drink.. Allright, once in a while I found a small stream where I could drink from, in the forest where I am running from thing my whole life.. And it doesnt seem to end. Everything my eyes can see are trees bushes and leaves, and sometimes a few animals that run through the leaves and brids that look down upon me from the trees as if the were laughing at me. When does this nightmare end? I'm so cold, I feel so ill... Maybe I've eaten the wrong berries, last midday, or was it the water from the mountain brook? I'm looking at my legs, wounded from the thorned berrybushes, scratches until my toes.
Night is falling, I can see the sun sink in a red mantle of light, the rays appear to be a lightshow. I stand at the foot of a hill, with an entry, a tunnel... A perfect place to settle down for the night. I'll just go to sleep on the moss, then I'll have something soft underneath my naked cold body...
And at night I dream... I see them, the creatures... giagantic creatures.. But also humanoids... I cannot see their faces.. The helmet they wear cover their entire head. Heavily dressed in a rusty full plated armor. I'm chained with heavy chains around my neck, my hands behind my back, chained painfully tight. They're pushing me ahead, to an open spot in the forest. Big monuments, with abyssal runes, an oblisk, a stone cirle of runes, probebly for rituals. Now I realise I am in true danger. I'm chained to a pillar, the pieces of few clothing I wear are ripped of my body. They are laughing at me, spitting in my face, over my breasts... I feel so helpless, so weak, I could cry... But I know if I'd do that I'd give them what they were goaling for, to see me emotional breakdown, and I will not gain them that pleasure.
Then I see her.. A drow priestess.. A priesstess of Lolth. But how? they never leave the Underdark! I dont understand one bit of what is happening before my very eyes..
I hear her talk to the armored men in drow elvish, which I cannot understand a word from. Then she points at me with an cold empty look in her eyes. My body shivers of the evil I notice behind the empty red eyes, which the moonlight make it glitter even more red. Fear and agony flow through my helpless body... She grins wickedly and turns around as she walks away with an overexadurated walk of vanity. Then one of the men comes walking for me slowly, he stops close in front at me. I'm so scared, my chest heaving as I breath in fear. He grins as he moves the cap of his helmet up, I can only see an unclear shape of his face, he must be a drow also. He inhales my scent and exhales as if he loves the way I smell. Then he licks over my breasts and grins, looking in my eyes.. I can see his fiery devilish red drow eyes clearly, and it fills me with dread. He grabs both of my breasts and squizes them painfully hard. I yelp in pain, but will never give him the pleasure of my tears. He grins and licks my face, and then turns around and walks away half running towards the place whence he came from. Now all the drow seem to leave, as dawn comes.
Fifteen minutes pass by.. I almost collapse of exhaustion, but then... I hear voices...
Chapter 2
Morning, I wake up with a dreadful headache, probebly thanks to the hunger I am suffering. I have to find something to eat. I can't even walk properly, I, just dragging my feet step by step, totally exhausted and in days I havent had a single bath. I crawl on my feet groaning in pain and hunger, with so much trouble. First something to eat. My body is covered in mud, especially my legs and feet, covered in dried mud and blood, from where I hurt myself at the thorned berry bushes. I stagger slowly from the cave, my eyes meet the first rays of the morning sun. I can't even feel my feet toching the rocky ground. Slowly I get in motion, almost falling over a piece of rotting wood. There! Another berry bush... Berries once and again.. I sight, but I am so hungry. Greedy I feed from the thorny berrybush, I hurt myself over and over from the thorns, scarthing wounds over my hands while I eat from the berries. After a while I ate all the berries I could find, no more left, so I decide to head for the sound of streaming water nearby, a small stream, outing into a large lake. Eventually arrived I gaze over the icecold water of the mountainlake. Yet it is warmer then yesterday, and I have to take a bath, I have too... I dip my toes carefully in the water to check the coldness. Carefully I step into the water of the lake, making my way deeper and deeper until I can sit down carefully to begin washing my filthy body. I begin washing myself, and after a few minutes of washing my body I hear a dog barking. I shift my eyes to the shore and see a dog barking at me agressivly. The from the woods comes running a rough looking man and grabs the barking dog and leashes it. Then he looks over at me, frowning deeply at me, a naked girl in the water, shivering of the coldness. "What the hell are you doing over here my child?" He yells. I shiver of the coldness and can barely speak a word. "Come here sweety, you must be dreadfully cold! Come, and I shall provide you with warmth and food." He speaks loudly, but in a friendly way nevertheless. Slowly I stand up staggering from the cold water off to upon the shoreline, the words he spoke can hear my body better then my ears. Stammering a few inunderstandable words in thanks. He laughs and extends his arms to me. As I walk for him I forget my nudeness, as I appear from the water, he looks at my breasts in an hungry way, as I walk out more, looking over my naked body from head to toe, then shaking his head gives a thick wool mantle to me and covers me up in it, wrapping the warm cloak around my icy cold body. "I'll be back before you know it. I'll make you a nice warm and big fire, and I'll roast you some rabbits." I nod slowly with a slight smile on my icy cold blue colored lips as the man vanishes into the woods once again. I hear chopping axe sounds and whisseling of him, a certain melody I cannot place. The dog lays down panting and looks at me with friendly eyes. I look away briefly at my hurt legs, feet and toes, which I lost feeling from. After a while the man comes back walking from the forest with a large branch of wood, dropping it down as he builds a fire from it. He takes out a magical torch from his pack and lits it. He moves it over the pieces of wood, nicely build into a piramid, as it begins to burn slowly, into a large warm fire. Then he takes out two dead rabbits from his pack and grins. "All for you darling!" he speaks with heavy voice. I nod once again with a smile, but the man didnt even notice I did, because he was already starting to skin the dead rabbit, removing his guts and blood as he stakes it upon a long piece of wood, before placing it over the fire to cook. I feel my body heatening by the warm fire slowly. "T..thank y..you s..so much...s..sir" I stammer slowly. He grins,"Oh well, I cant leave such a beautiful angel such as yourself to starve, now can I dear? What is your name child?" He speaks carfefully.
"L..lomillia sir..". I say with a soft voice. "Ah now I see, your an elf are you not?" I nod slightly, yet not hearing well enough what he says, realising it and shaking my head swiftly. He frowns and ask me what I am then. "A Dryad sir..." I say. The he widens his eyes. "I thought dryads were creatures of the forest, able to survive anything." he says. I nod an say that I shall tell him that in the morning, I am so tired. He nodded and makes a soft spot on the moss. I smile at him as I lay down slowly, closing my eyes before I fell asleep. I heard him murbeling a few words as he begins sharpening his knives. And then, the dreams return.
Chapter 3
The voices, soft whisperings in the distance, amongst the trees. High pitched voices, female ones. I slowly look into the direction from whence the voices come. What I saw then, I could not believe. My sisters! They saw an reconised me, laughing in happyness, half sneaking, half running towards me, tied to the pillar in chains. I could cry of happyness. My sisters embracing and hugging me, crying and kissing me. The break the chains with their magic and lifted me up, running towards the forest. They walked with me in their hands for a while, then laying me softly down upon the forest floor, hugging and crying over me again and again, so happy to see and touch me.Two of my sisters left out, searching for herbs to treat my wounds. One of them stayed by my side. Then after a while, I heard the agonising screaming of my sisters, followed by a heavy men's laughter. Me and my sisters eyes met, both in agonizing fear. We knew there was nothing we could do, so she lifted me upon her shoulder and ran away. She kept on running and mile after mile. Then she collapses in exhaustion over me, bursting out in tears, not a while after that I followed her sorrow. "My sweet sisters... oh by the mother, what could have happened to my loves?", she cried over me. I didnt know what to say and just layed down with her in my arms for a few minutes until we both settled down. She wiped her tears and picked a few aloe leaves growing nearby, covering my wounds with them. "What now my sweet sister. You are way too badly wounded to move.", she said sadly. I nodded to her and said it would be ok. I told her the story about the drow and how they captured me. She looked stunned over me and comforted me. "My sweet sister, but why are you so important too them", she asked me. "I am the most powerful of us my dear, that must be the reason. They probebly needed my natural magic for something, but I have no idea what. Let's just sleep for now, we're both exhausted, and we're far away from those nasty drow.", I said. She nodded and layed close to me, in my arms as we fell asleep....
Dawn, I wake up slowly, looking to the smoldering leftovers of the fire. The man sitting over it, eating bread and drinking milk. I get up slowly and sit up, feeling the warm rays of the sun touching my skin. I look down at my feet and notice them covered in something, but I know aloe leaves are underneath the coverings, for the healing of my wounds. "I.. Told you my name sir.. Do you wish to share yours with me now?", I ask carefully. He looks up and beams, as he nods "I am Davien, ranger of this forest, human though, but nevertheless I'm not any worse then any elven ranger, my skills are as good as them.", he says proudly. I smile and nods carefully. "Well met Davien.. I promised you to tell why I was so hurt and hungry yesterday.", I said slowly. He nods and waves his hand at me, gesturing to speak.
As I tell him the dreams I had, about the drow in the forest, about my sisters beeing captured. He widens his eyes in concern. "My dear one, but where is you sister now then?", he speaks. "W..we got seperated after we got chased once again by those drow", I say. "But I do not understand what buisness drow have on the surface. They never leave the Underdark.", he says. I nod and sighs. "I know sir, and I must find my sisters, or what is left over from them, I must. I cannot bare the feeling that I shall never see them again.", I say in a sad tone. "But of course, and I, Davien, ranger of this forest, am at your service. I havent got anything better to do anyway, I am wondering these bloody woods for weeks, and now I find you. I cant let you leave it to yourself, I wont.", he says smiling. I nod slowly as he begins to pack his gear into his backpack. We both got to out feet and start walking into the forest once again. We walked through the forest, over leaves, hopping over branches and entire fallen trees, until we made our way to a road, which I never even knew that was there. "He we shall wait for my wife, oh...and.. get dressed, else my wife might think we...did things, you know..", he grins and throws me a some worn out robe, which I take, smiling at him as I dress up in the old brown robe, yet it seems to be warm to my body, altough I do not really like clothing upon my skin. We waited for an hour before we heard horses and a cart nearing. At a while around the corner comes riding a cart with horses, upon it a young human female, dressed in heavy brown robes and a flower in her hair, her hair is golden blonde, glittering in the sunlight. When she closes in, stopping in front of us, she gazes first over me with her ocean blue eyes as she then looks at Davien. "Who is this girl Davien?", she asks. Davien smiles. "I found her near death, bathing in the lake, hungry and injured badly, I gave her food and warmth, provided her with food, and she told me a most disturbing story about drow surfacing from the Underdark, however that is possible and why they do it I and her do not know my darling.", he said friendly to the lady. "Allright dear, I believe you. I'm Daliah, wife of Davien. And who are you dear elf?", she said. I smiled and looked up to meet her ocean blue eyes, gazing at them with my emerald eyes. "I'm not an elf mi'lady. I'm a Dryad. And my name is Lomillia.", I said with a slight smile. "A Dryad? Oh my.. I never met a dryad before. It's an honor.", she says as she bows her head friendly. "Come, lets go home Davien, and Lomillia, you can come along my dear. I will give you a warm soft bed, some milk and bread, and wine if you want.", she said with a broad smile on her lips. I nodded and climbed upon the cart, sitting beside her. Davien went to the back and climbed upon the cart. She whipped the lashes to make the horses come in motion. As the horses begin to move. She begins to sing a song. Davien laughed and begins to sing along with his wife. I smiled, but I didnt knew human songs all too well, as I never really go to the civilized world. We ride for many hours upon the road, I begin to tire a little, noticing the dusk approaching. But then, suddenly we come to a small cottage, within the forest. As Daliah stops the horses from moving, she jumps off and helps Davien unload the cart. I climb off slowly and ask if I could help, but they laughed. "My dear, you are way too exhausted to do labor.", Daliah said with a smile. "Yes dear, go to the door, we'll be right there allright?", Davien said. I nodded as I made my way to the door. I waited a little, rubbing my cold arms as they come with heavy packs upon them to the door, Davien has a key in his mouth. He mutters a few words I can barely understand, to grab the key from his mouth and open the door please. I nod an takes the key from between his teeth gently, walking over to the door, and sticking the key into the keyhole. With a loud scratching sound of metal the lock opens, and I open the door after that, gazing in the house. It looks like a typical human residence. One big room. One door besided the front door, probebly the bedroom. A large couch. Skins upon the floor in front of a large fire. They rush in and plant down the heavy pack, both yawning at the same time, then laughed. I giggle slightly, can't help but letting out a yawn too. "Heh, we should go to bed now. We'll stuff ourselves full with food in the morning." I nod. "Where can I sleep sir Davien?", I ask with a soft voice. "You can sleep on that huge couch my dear. Your alot smaller then we are, so you'll be fine. We're taking the bedroom.", he speaks grinning as Daliah and Davien walk over to the door, slamming it open and closing it. I hear her laugh and not a while after that some silence. I lay down on the couch, staring at the fire a little. Then I hear Daliah moan loudly. I frown and then smile a little, knowing their making love to eachother. The moaning continues for thirty minutes, then stops a while. And then goes on again for half an hour, up to six times. And when it's over, I close my eyes, falling to sleep into the dreams once and again...
