In the Spider's Silk, In Skullport Town,
There's drink enough for a man to drown,
The liquor's hard and the girls are soft,
You need a mighty big stick just to beat 'em off,
And now matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
The dancing girls may not be meek,
But they sure know how to turn the other cheek,
They can shake and shimmy, and turn your head,
And the way they move their hips could even wake the dead,
And no matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
The guards took a girl just the other night,
Her bosom sure was heavy but her fingers were light,
Whne the Master of the House went to post her bail,
The Judge set her free and put the guards in jail,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
A priest of Tyr tried to change their ways,
And teach the working girls how they ought to pray,
They took him to a room to learn the wages of sin,
They found him dead in the morning with a great big grin,
And no matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
The men come to visit when they get their pay,
To try and chase a little of their blues away,
Their pockets may be empty when they come back out,
But they'll swear they got nothing to complain about,
And no matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
They have every sort of way you could want to unwind,
And few more besides if you are so inclined,
And if you start to thinking you don't like it like that,
They'll show you half a dozen more ways to skin a cat,
And no matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
No matter how they do it,
Anyway they do it just the same.
No matter how you want it,
No matter how you like it,
No matter how you take it,
Any way they can make it just the same.

Moonlight on the Water
My love, my love, oh come to me,
Come to me tonight.
Thought they say you are dead,
Before we could wed,
No more, for mortal sight.
My love, my love, I can't come to thee,
I cannot depart my sleep,
For t'is true I did drown,
In my wedding gown,
And rest in the waters deep.
My love, my love, oh, come to me,
For my life is lost without you
If ever you were mine,
Send me a sign
That your love for me was true.
And would you love these cold, damp lips,
And these eyes now as dull as stones,
Would you still rest,
Your head on this breast,
When the flesh falls from my bones?
T'is not the flesh nor the bones, my love,
Nor even thy breast that I crave,
But thy voice sweet and pure,
Would help me endure,
As you rest neath the frothing waves.
Then my love, my love, I'll send to thee,
A sign by the next rising moon,
If that be thy choice,
You'll again hear my voice,
In the evening cry of the loon.
Come to me tonight.
Thought they say you are dead,
Before we could wed,
No more, for mortal sight.
My love, my love, I can't come to thee,
I cannot depart my sleep,
For t'is true I did drown,
In my wedding gown,
And rest in the waters deep.
My love, my love, oh, come to me,
For my life is lost without you
If ever you were mine,

Amidst the laughter of lovely harlots, and the pouring of rare mind altering beverages, a cascade of horns opens a sultry melody, and a dainty elegant little drow male in perfectly tailored tuxedo steps into a pool of light, and adresses the latest arivals to the Spider's Silk, the finest of brothels in the Port of Shadows.
With a welcoming gesture, he beckons them closer, a bright smile of tiny perfect white teeth flashes from his dark face. The horns crescendo and then fall to a rest as he begins to sing:
Step right up
Come inside.
Prepare yourself
For a wild ride
We've got everything that you've been searching for.
We've got Sugar
We've got Spice
We've got sin and
We've got vice,
One thing for certain it never is a bore...
If your button down
Nine to five,
Makes you wonder why
You're still alive
Come on in, why not ask for more.
No need to question,
No need to doubt
Your every secret
Will be coming out.
So spread your wings, and let your spirit soar.
Sign your name
There on the line
You'll get all you want
And your soul will be mine,
But souls were only every usefull to the poor
Now mind you manners,
Watch your tongue.
Don't make me tell you
A second time, son,
Cause everything changes once we close the door....
That's right,
Mind your manners,
Don't talk back,
Do as you're told
By the Bard in Black
Cause everything changes.
Everything changes.
Everything changes, once we close the door.
The large Tannaruk guard grins to the arrivals, his acid coated scimitar in hand as he bars the door behind them. Welcome to the Spider's Silk.
